Which bulb are you talking about--an indicator or backlighting?

@CircuitBoardMedicsLLC the bulbs inside the cluster. Specifically, the bulb behind my speedometer is out and I was think of replacing that myself versus taking it to the dealer.

That's not part of our standard repair but we'd gladly take a look at the light for you. If you prefer to fix the light yourself vs taking it to the dealership, we are not able to confidently recommend any other service.

That definitely could be related to the control board. We recommend you send it in, especially because you confirmed that the sensor and heating elements are good. Thanks for the question, LB. Those can only be accessed with an Allen key. An Allen head socket/ratchet or power tool won't fit. The lower left bolt can't be removed from the actuator until the actuator is removed from the turbo, and the bolt needs to be put into the new actuator before it is mounted to the turbo. @@CircuitBoardMedicsLLC I actually figured it out, ended up being the inline thermal cutoff at the control unit.

Very sorry to hear about the issues that you have been dealing with. Definitely not the time of year to go without an oven. Intermittent display issues usually indicate a problem with the main oven board (part 8302153). It is possible that the other issues you’ve described are being caused by the same faulty part. @@CircuitBoardMedicsLLC I have since talked to the service tech who said the main board is the problem. Trouble is, the board is discontinued and it would have to be rebuilt. I'm sure one or more components failed on the main board. I'm now looking into where I can send the board to have it analyzed and repaired. Do you have any suggestions? The company I've been dealing with says they can have it rebuilt for $225. I think that estimate would be me removing it and reinstalling it which I can do.

Total or intermittent loss of power to the display screen is a symptom that we repair for. You don't have to worry about paying for a whole new cluster--you simply remove your cluster (like you saw in the video) and send it to us. Once we receive it, we will repair it and ship it out by the next day! You can set up a repair of your cluster by looking up our 2013 - 2018 Ram cluster repair at Circuit Board Medics . com, or you can call or text us at 800-547-2049. If you'd like to do some troubleshooting first to rule out other possibilities, you can check the following fuses to make sure they're fully connected and not blown: - 49 (10A) - 88 (one is 15A, one is 10A) - 104 (20A). If this check out, then we recommend you test your battery and alternator to make sure they're putting out proper voltage. Make sure you test them while engine is off and while engine is running.

Any time you are removing the actuator from the turbo we recommend that you calibrate when putting it back on. If the gear on the turbo or the one on the actuator move, even slightly, your actuator will be out of calibration. The calibration sets the limits for the boost and the exhaust brake. Without calibration the turbo and turbo actuator don't "agree" on the position of the gears. As a result, you won't get the complete or accurate range of boost and brake out of your turbo.

How did you fix your car ? My car had the following symptoms: wipers going off on their own as well as the horn and random stalling.

Sorry, Timothy. We don't stock lenses for these clusters. But if you can find a source, the lens can be easily taken off and replaced. (Just don't bump the gauge needles)

Joy, we do not have a video that matches that style of oven. Based on our experience, we can make one suggestion. If you have removed all the screws that would hold the top portion of the oven/stove in place, there may still be some clips holding it together internally. If that is the case, it may take a fair amount of force to release the clips. Of course, if the problem is an overlooked screw instead of clips, it would be bad to force it, so please be careful!

The coolant runs through the actuator, so if you don't drain the system, it will drain itself (to the level of the actuator) when you remove the actuator making a big mess and likely ruining the circuitry of the actuator in the process.

The coolant runs through the actuator. If you don't drain it prior to pulling the actuator, it will drain down to the level of the actuator as it spills out AND it will most likely run into the actuator itself as you remove it ruining the electronics so you won't have a useable core to return.
