Thanks for posting. This spring of 2024 I'm going to purchase a large species, either Aloe ferox or Aloe marlothii, I haven't made up my mind. One thing I want is for it to get LARGE. I think they're so impressive. I've never owned an aloe among my other plants, and I love succulents! Either species will survive outside in a pot down here in Lake Charles, LA except on rare occasion it should dip in the mid-twenties, at which time I would just scoot the plant inside a nearby heated room for the night. Great video.

I saw a ficus (and now I am in the process of developing mine, I already have roots) that I did not find here, the leaves are red more than 2/3 of their surface, the back of the leaf and the stem are red and under the leaves are many small red flowers as well. Does anyone know what it's name?

My experience tells a completely different story. Some of the mentioned plants (basil, lavender, mint) THEMSELVES get overwhelmed by spider webs. I'll try the other ones tough. 🙂 Thanks! ✌

It's great to see someone is trying to get a video out about plants in the Commelinaceae family. This video is a great start, but most of the names are incorrect. Not all the plants shown are in the genus tradescantia.

Nice! Was able to determine two species I got, the one I got as Aloe Vera obviously isn't a Vera at all. Do you know by any chance if other varieties are usable like the Vera as well, ie smearing their sap on sunburns etc. ?

It was interesting to see the flowers, but my plants are small and won't flower for some time. Many did not have a name on the plant, so, I'm trying to identify them. For that, I need to see the leaves. These are beautiful plants and flowers. Thanks for the video. My favorite is Hoya bella.
