You can always check the community guide, I wrote the hunger section for it @ lostark.nexus/reaper it should cover pretty much everything related to building and gear for the current patch. If there was anything else you wanted to know feel free to ask. I probably won't be making a video guide for reaper with tier 4 coming so soon.

@@osoldado29 I haven't really looked too much into T4 yet, and I'd like to have the opportunity to test things myself after it releases as Korea is notoriously bad about feelscrafting over performance. I'll see if I can make one when I understand the systems a bit more but it will probably be a while, and the community guide will be updated first.

@@Nyaaatt it is worth going keen blunt/ adr 1 whit set critical or its better master

@@martinortiz8146 if you use critical+kbw you should have additional sources of crit (precise bracelet or adr2). if you dont have those just go master, it'll be better on avg.

It's a solid generic weapon that will see a lot of use down the line is my logic! Esp with how weapon sharing works in ToA. My favourite is actually Danjin though!

hard mode in a few weeks when more of my friends hit 1630!

in normal mode i think its mostly unnecessary, however it would be a very comfy option to use for emergency push immune during certain patterns, esp in hard mode where the punishment is a lot higher for getting hit. My spinning dagger in total did about 3% of my total dps, so you'd lose about that much by bringing black mist (21.6m to 21m) might be good for prog or if youre simply willing to sack the damage for comfort.

hard to say without seeing your trix parse, if you visit the reaper channel in the discord and post a video of your parse you can get some better feedback, post with more details such as cardset, elixirs, quals, etc

its rage spear (q) with the execution tripod and shadow vortex (f) which reduces the cooldown of red skills by 1.9s when used. This gate in particular has a buff (Rakathus' Blood) when you pick up the red orbs that grants a very substantial cooldown reduction buff at the cost of making you lose 90% of your hp if you get hit. With the cooldown reduction from the buff, the cooldown of rage spear gets reduced to just over 2 seconds, which allows for shadow vortex to instantly put it back off cooldown for use again.

you cap raid captain at 1048 swift, with less you can make up for it with an atk+movespd feast. If you're close to 1048 its good enough, youll gain more damage from the spec scaling than you do trying to maximise the 0.2% dmg from raid captain you might be missing if youre at like 1000 or so. my +1 is either EP1 if i play adr3 or adr1 if i play kbw3. i use stab status to simulate a semi-stacked EP in the trix test since a fully stacked one is a bit stronger and an unstacked one is a bit weaker.

tbh I've never really actively farmed for them, I just got them over time by playing the game. For reference I have about 170 hours in game and 1000+ quests cleared with 5 fully ascended terminus weapons. Most of my curios came from either griffin farming for weapon EXP, nazarbonju farming for refinium/centrums, or slimepede.

Mastery

This is Hunger reaper, this class engraving does not use Z. Instead it fills both the purple and red bars to activate the "chaos mode" buff. Lunar reaper is the other class engraving and it makes you deal a lot more damage after you press Z, that's probably the one you're looking for.

The closest thing to a visual indicator of when to attack again for a successful loop is the star that appears upon impact - you have to click again right as it forms and before it explodes. It's kind of hard to explain but if you practice against the dummy for a while you should get a feel for it.

By double do you mean the passthrough trick with vengeful flames? With that trick they're about the same dps in practice but you save ~1s with it which can be useful. IMO the must have skills are Vengeful Flames and Infinite Wonder. Spear of Arvess is very good for fights that aren't Proto Baha. The last slot is mostly a flex pick, I use Rain of Fury because it's a dps skill with a low cast time but Wingclipper is good too. Realm's Majesty generally isn't a good option if you're looking to deal the most damage but its a very nice safety net if you're still learning the character or fight.

@@Nyaaatt I might stick for the 3 loops for now, there are certain fights where double looping is frustrating for me, especially if the fight is too chaotic. Also, damn, I use spear of arvess, vengeful flames, wing clipper, and realm majesty; I definitely need to check out infinite wonder more, though I'm surprised spear of arvess is not a must pick to you, such a convenient skill lol Thanks for the answer :)

@@TheDestinies Triple looping is fine, there's basically no effective diff dps wise in a real raid unless doing the 3rd loop makes you miss the finisher. Spear of Arvess I would consider mandatory in like 99% of the fights, but its quite mediocre in proto and thats the fight most people are grinding right now so it's hard to say. Infinite Wonder is really strong - it was recently found that if you dodge immediately after the laser appears it doubles the damage of the cast. I dont know how that works but it's a ~1m damage increase over 60s.

War elemental isn't that rare if you've been playing long enough. No glass cannon is more practical for a real fight instead of just inflating numbers on a training mode.

I’ve 4 war elemental.

I wasn't able to test until now since i was missing a good clout+orange sigil, but i rolled a clout+tyranny to test and I can get 34.5 with glass cannon. There are other videos out there going up to 35.5 but those builds are specifically tailored to 60s parsing and give up sigils that you'd bring to a real fight (potion hoarder and other qol for things like quick cooldowns since lv45 quick cd lines up spear perfectly against the dummy for link attacks)

flight extends the window of whats considered a successful loop - its a pure quality of life option where if youre good enough its technically not necessary but I think its better safe than sorry because i know im personally still prone to mistakes

I feel like it's necessary for me at least, feels like bosses have deceptive hitboxes and it gets even worse when the camera turns. Then again I'm playing on a toaster.
