Dang what fuel pump are you runing to make all that power
Looks like the rod bolt broke or came loose and allowed the rod to come off of the crank. Look at how black the big end of the rod is... If the rod broke bolt and kicked the rod out then the rotating crank could push it through the block. you can even see the wear on the side of the rod where it looks like it was being slapped. Once it pushed through the side then that cylinder probably wasn't pumping anymore (piston stuck down - rod not connected) so I do not think that was the cause of #1 rusting - you would also have rust on other cylinders. Could have been seeping from the headgasket unrelated to failure. Your coolant jackets are also rusty so I would run a higher coolant mixture regardless. Awesome build though man. Love your content and currently helping a friend build his 97 prelude with a 500 whp setup, your content has been pretty helpful. I see you cracked over 1000 whp in one of your later videos. Dope car man.
@@justperry5473 thanks for the comment man! Cooling jackets are Rusty because you cannot run coolant on the drag strip you have to run water or water wetter
@H22PreludeDude that stinks but I guess it is pretty typical. I can run coolant at my local track but the best I have ran was 7.5 @ 98 mph so maybe I wasn't fast enough lol.

No STD size. 30 and 35mm
so what’s the problem with going +1mm oversize valves then? I believe that running them with a higher lift cam profile pushes the valves too far into the pistons valve groove right?
@@elliotcolledge56 it all depends on what camshaft and piston design you're running. You just have to make sure you check your valve to valve and your piston the valve clearance even closer to make sure you're in a safe window to run them

You the man a lot of people don’t do a good commentary video like you. Every main question already answered explanation. Keep them video uploaded we all prelude drivers should already know your video by now are enjoying it. I think more money will go into the sport shift transmission. Why they always failing. Need a new repair kit for them sport shift automatic drivers transmission. Why they all failing there is a money market to fixing the sport shift gears kit. You need to look into them and why they fail a lot. Help the sport shift drivers out there out. We all know the Nissan drivers transmission fails people rep them and never checking the transmission fluid every 6 months or yearly.

Yes. Aaron no longer runs this gear set tho. I've been a part of this from the very beginning Aaron and I were testing this years before Kyle got one board
NO it is not. I actually spearheaded geting these H sets done. Jeff Owen and I in conjunction with Kostas. We split ways and have a different kit in his car for the last two years. Kyle is still on one for now. I personally flew it to him and delivered it in FL , theres a video on it on the boosted boiz channel.

Clean work 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I believe that the drain entrance from your batt. location box could possibly be too low. Hypothetically, if your first box ever accumulates enough oil to block the drain(maybe a small amount of a qt or 2 qts) before you manually clean the system, it can in return make your ccv system less effective. The built up oil can cause a blockage of crankcase vapors.
It gets drained after every pass
In that case, it should be a very effective system 😎👍🏽.
