There are some entries that were maybe better, but this one definitely filled me with the most joy. The stage present, the FUN, the charisma, the togetherness of the group, the catchy chorus, the little quirky habits that give this performance so much personality, its incredible to watch

It was the most French song I ever heard. Slimane has a great voice, but he is also a great guy. He, Nemo from Switzerland, Bambie Thug from Ireland, Yolanda from Portugal and Marina Satti from Greece became good friends. Mostly because they fought against all the sh*t that happened behind the scene. Slimane even interrupted his final rehearsal to give a speech for peace and freedom and love. That's what Eurovision is for: Different artists and people from different countries speaking different languages meet each other to keep European countries in peace. That's why they all got many votes from the public. Eurovision is political, that's what it was founded for and that's how it should be. The European Broadcasting Union is still one of the pillars of making it possible that European countries, after 1,000 years of wars can live mostly in peace. We need it more than ever. We have to talk about it, fight about it and find compromises. Because a democracy dies, if talking about politics is viewed as something impolite or bad and art should be nonpolitical. After Nemo got the winner's trophy, they were asked to say something to the people that voted for them. Nemo said one sentence: I hope this contest can live up to its promise and continue to stand for peace and dignity for every person in this world.

They studied opera singing from age 9 to 13. The age of 10 they joined the Biel children's opera and performed in Mozart's The Magic Flute At 13 they performed in the musical I've never been to New York. They also began rapping at this age, competing in Swiss contests and performing songs they independently wrote. They found early success in battle rap as a teenager. they studied solo singing in jazz and pop at Zurich University of the Arts, and won the SRF 3 Best Talent prize. In 2018, Nemo won 4 Swiss Music awards in one night including best song of the year! So now you can see why they sing so good 😇😇 Im so happy about Nemo and they deserved win!❤🎉 Love and peace you two!!✌️✌️✌️
