Fox đŠ On Roxy Ann Peak Getting Frisky
Loading Log Truck
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 1,7KPĆed 8 lety
After unloading this trucks trailer the other loggers behind us arrived and wanted through my landing. There was no room for them to go around so I assured them this load would be a quick one. It turned out the load was 102,000 weight (extremely heavy white fir). Oh, and it was under six minutes. Oh, and if you are wondering why I didnt load any short logs its because I already loaded them all ...
Running a nice dozer out in the sticks catskinning a road in for logging. I hope that you realize that it doesnât get any better than that, a beautiful day and sunshine to boot! Be safe out there boys! đșđžđȘđđâïž

Just love those sounds those old D8s and D9s make! Probably my favorite was D8H high horse could always tell by Turbo just how hard you was working the old beast, figure thats power shift tractor, but those old direct drives was really powerful! Used about 2 gallons less per hour fuel too!

Thanks for not putting some obnoxious music on, itâs pleasant to hear the equipment run!
Oregon and northern CA. We come from the land of tall timber

Stelovajne ventili cat 8d
Its like watching poetry in motion D-8 STYLE.
This video will never get old for me ))) Nothing beats the sound of a high horse D 8H with that high volume fan sound. Complete satisfaction))
Copy that! Thank you đ
Thatâs the turbo slowing dow that whistles, not the fan
36 must of had a clutch that would not quit
36 tracked good
Frasure told me Strunk had a 8 that would track with the nines
Exelente operador y buena maquina

I had a 48a day a real power house.fun to operate...thanks for the soundtrack
It's a 46a
The old 46AD8 was a hell of a dozer
I ran D7e, D8h and D9g. Loved it back in the 70s
Interesting he clamped the carriage then swing the yarder, Lots of hang booms on that landing lol

Beautiful, could listen to that all day
Yes, the old school is good. It's strange, because in theory everything new should be better, but it's not. The current cars will not live like these for 30-40 years and this is a fact.
That a T Bird Shovel? 1240? VERY COOL
Old school love.
đđ46A Power!
I got alot of hours on a old D-8H and k.the D-8H pulling a scoop building ponds.other one pushing dirt.good machines.i started running a dozer at age 15.ive ran everything from a D-3 to a D-10.
Got to run a Td15 when I went to school for heavy equipment miss those days
Very good machines. Td -15 TD-20 TD-25 all good machines. Cats are good too especially the older ones.
Where did you go to school
@@Thecowboy1950in the woods? The best equipment operators learned hands on. No school required
Love the strength of the old 7s and 8s ! Most modern highways were built with them ! Tough machines ran by tough operators! Be respectful of the old road building pioneers for the convenience that we have! I ran a D8T on the I 35 expansion from Belton Texas through Temple Texas it was tough with the new cat ripping the rock down! I have a deep respect for the original men who cut through that area of rock!
Nothing like raw Diesel power. Ran a 6 for a lot of years never an 8, I can only imagine.
The D9G is one of my favorite machines to run.
Plant a tree!
Stop to destroy!..
The mad mens only know destroy!..
A rubber tired swing yarder, now I have seen it all
I hooked on two different Washington 108s. Both on rubber.
