I know this video came out a while ago, but I think this found me at the perfect time. I moved studios this year (sophomore year) after trying out for my old studios company 2 years in a row and not making it. I just finished auditions for the company at my new studio and found out today I didn't make it. Ive been freaking out because I'm worried and upset that senior year is gonna be my last year I'll ever get to try out and possibly compete. But seeing this video helped take some of that weight off my shoulders and made me feel so much better knowing there's people in similar situations to mine.

I put dance as my major and I have LITERALLY 0 expirience in dance like I’ve never taken a class or anything except like CZcams choreo tutorials but besides that nothing. Was that like a wrong decision to do or something cause idk dancing has always been my dream but I have 0 expirience and idk if I should just minor in dance instead IDK IDK

I know this video is 2 years old now, but I just wanted to share my thoughts a little here. So I've always loved dance and the way it feels to dance and the adrenaline and all of the emotions that come with it, it's always been a thing I've been interested in without even realizing. But for the past few years, I've been metaphorically stuck in time trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I tried college right out of high school like most people do, but I had to drop out because of lost passion for my original major, and ever since then I've been lost. Well just a few hours ago, I realized how much I truly loved dancing and I've decided I want to pursue that. Shortly after I found your video and your speech at the end gave me so much motivation and I truly feel that I want to dance as a career now, so thank you, honestly, for making this video! I will remember your words always; so long as I continue to love dancing! :)
