I wanted to do a series of videos that take a quick look at all of the 300 arcade games I've chosen for my MAME cabinet. I also wanted to include trivia for those that have seen these games many times before and want to learn something new. Because I don't have Sinden Light guns these videos exclude Light Gun games (Area 51, Time Crisis etc.) Games that use Analog controls (like Terminator 2, S...

Here's where my Hyperspin build is at. Just added the NDS to the collection. Happy to answer questions on it but please don't be _that_ jabroni asking for roms/isos k? Also if you want a video of one of the systems' games just fire a comment at me and I'll probably comply.

I like the darker dingier version better. Looks more like a dark damp dungeon basement of a castle.
Just stopping by to say thanks a lot for this very quick and straightforward guide. You're awesome!
The unreleased battletoads title feels like it should be called Frogger: the Later Years or My Time Spent in Anger Management Classes hahahaha ! 😮😏

I LIKE THE OTHER GUY HE'D TELL US WHERE IT HAPPENED AND WHEN ....THIS GUY JUST SAYS YEP IT HAPPENED.... Ok well when ?????
I just bought a copy of this to play on my PolyMega. I haven't played it yet, but it looks pretty solid. I'm a big fan of brawlers. Nice video!
if its made up shouldn't they put a disclaimer for that said part of the source is true but the boogyman part is fiction?
Winners don't use drugs, but I'm willing to bet some of these game designers did!
21:48 Yo WTF!? The fact that this problem was so common and widespread that a depiction of it was included in the form of a lighthearted game mechanic is just wild. That's like if while playing Paperboy on NES you had to ride around dodging flashing creeps in trenchcoats or driving around in white vans.
I thought there was going to be something there at 2:50.
Super Castlevania was a remake of Haunted Castle. Many of the same enemies and obstacles that are unique to HC are also in Super.
Wonder Momo VS Splatterhouse Winner: Obiously, Splatterhouse!
Do not underestimate the power of the hula hoop.
wtf firemen did was released
I saw this as a kid. It has haunted me for years and still do.
Vega is not incorrectly named Balrog, in the original japanese version of street fighter 2 this was his name... fearing a possible lawsuit from Mike Tyson, 3 of the 4 emperors swapped names... Vega became M.Bison, M.Bison became Balrog, Balrog became Vega.
I'm a big fan of Shadowhawk and The Shadow
There's tons of lost media when it comes to laserdisc arcade games. Here's some of them: Laser Grand Prix (1983 Taito) Cosmos Circuit (1984 Taito) Top Gear (1984 Universal) Top Gear 2 (1985 Universal) Goal to Go (1983 Stern) Star Rider (1983 Williams) There's even more when it comes to prototypes and MSX games.
This show predominantly featured out of body incidents, sometimes by living people, and others involving recently Deceased individuals that provide help to solve problems. This particular event bares some resemblance to the woman's mother disappearing from a motel room
I had the honor of playing the VS. system version on its actual arcade cabinet back in 2013 at the Barcade in Jersey City. It was only for a few minutes though as I had a pizza cooking next door that I was waiting for to take back to my father's apartment. The next time I went in there a few years later they didn't have it anymore. At least I got the Arcade Archives edition now and I got an arcade controller for my Switch too.
Here's an honorable mention: Chimera Beast is an unreleased coin-operated arcade video game developed by C.P. Brain and planned to be released by Jaleco (a defunct Japanese game developer responsible for City Connection, Bases Loaded, Ninja JaJaMaru-kun, Exerion, Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai and Rushing Beat along with obscure arcade titles such as Saint Dragon and The Astyanax) in 1993. It is a primarily horizontal movement scrolling shooter set on an alien planet in which you play as a mutant parasite that flies across various environments blasting multiple beasts until finally invading a cyberpunk city. The game is fully completed, but Jaleco canceled the game's arcade production for unknown reasons. Despite this, the game is playable at Galloping Ghosts Arcade with its own cabinet as well as its playable through arcade emulated websites and Mame. I also got to play it on my uncle's Mame Arcade cabinet, and I gotta say, the game is a lot of fun, and it's a shame it was canceled in the first place.
Why’d you stop uploading?
Things were going pretty well but then false copyright claims increased and then my channel got demonitized. That was a little demoralizing and I moved onto other endeavors. I'm working on a new video though!
Excellent content , subbed !
Real shame that some of these games never saw the light of day... Officially that is.
It was a factual story, but not the way the show aired it. The kid escaped through a trap door in the ceiling and was found a week later at a friends house hiding in the attack.
How does a kid reach the ceiling?

Will there be anymore Beyond Belief episodes you review?
1:54 Good god that is a hilariously bad ad. It's like 15% games, 85% some dude who isn't games.
This reminds me of Demon's Crest.
Tower of Radia is Radia Senki: Reimeihen. Famicom only once again.
Squashed is a Famicom game called Ninja Jajamaru: Ginga Daisakusen. Actually a really good game.
Mickey Mouse - Dream Balloon was released on Famicom as Mickey Mouse 3. In the US it was released as Kid Klown. Same game, different character graphic.
Makai Island is a 1987 Capcom Famicom only release called Higemaru Makaijima.
What's 5th game name???
Uncle Poo (!!!!) has a move kinda NES game Devil World...
That Farmers Rebellion looks like NES game Ikki lol.
Idk if you still look at your comments but I just found out that this eyeful home company advertised on an Australian steam engine which is the weridest thing
34:50 Name of the Game please
Ganbare Ginkun
Not fact
Iron Commando has a bad ass soundtrack. I'm definitely getting this one emulated on my snes classic
Does anyone know the name of a game that had you control a green space ship and before the stage starts you see two astronauts in the bottom middle of the screen approaching the planet? And in the planet, the stage was purple.
Great list. I had played most of these, and heard about most of the others, but unfortunately Willow didn’t fall into either category. I think I would have really enjoyed it as a kid.
I love scud hammer the best
Many of these games are awesome❤
Kung Fu 2 the arcade game didn't get released either....and there's a quest to find a working arcade proto board.
Looks like Adam Koralik was able to find one at Hardoff for a grand.
This story still confuses me and I always wonder how it possibly could have happened; a real head scratcher for me, but it still creeps me out every time..
Simple , there was really a demon in the closet , just like the kid said . so whats so confusing about that ?
This took place like in the late 70s. Coming to find out there was a trap door and the kid escape and hid out at a friend's house for almost a week. My grandmother old home had one as well.
These are pretty normal for 80s games. I'm still waiting for the "strange" ones.
Why wasn't this on news and nothing more about it
"When the boss takes away 1/4 of your health each hit" *Laughs in Castlevania 2nd quest*
