When I import a render that I created every 2 frames in After Effects, it asks if I want to import and forces the import in order. How can I do the same in Davinci? I can't import a sequence that has missing intermediate frames. For example: image.000 / image.002 / image.004 / image.006, etc. Does anyone know how to help me with this issue?

this doesnt work. it opens the exr as a frame not as a sequence

This is dumb. Why can't it be as simple as Import Media, Select Sequence like how it's done in premiere?

Still dont understand why to use fusion for that instead of keyframes. More controll is ok but it is much more complicated

excellent tutorial. I wish you had noted how to speed up audio to match, every time I try, it knocks out my speed ramp on my video, and just speeds up the whole clip with no speed ramping.

Will this work on a regular video clip. I'm wanting to use it on an alpha file of a masked out person. I'm hoping the masked out person will be recognized as a logo. Do I think your template will work for something like that. Basically I'm trying to make a short video clip of a person become frozen

Great explanation, for the most part. I''m using Davinci 18, and my callouts don't appear in like yours does. It's just there from beginning to end. But I only want the callout to last for a few seconds. How do I have the callouts appear and disappear at certain points in my video?

In all the videos it talks about 'image sequence', are these not a normal image, do you have to create this in another program or is 'image sequence' just a name that you give to a series of photos. I speak Dutch and translations are sometimes very unclear

Hey. I'm having trouble as soon as you got to 6:00. There's only one frame of the image that I edited, and I cannot seem to find a way to have the edited photo last for more than one second / frame. Can you please assist? What did I do wrong??

Strange, I have DaVinci Resolve 17.3 on Linux and it doesn't pack images into a movie by default. I tried to follow czcams.com/video/e9VIR39aCHw/video.html made for DaVinci 18 and it also has a 3 dots menu it opens > Frame Display Mode > Sequence, but I don't have a 3 dots menu at all in my version (layout is a bit different and I have a "Search" field instead just a magnifier glass). EDIT: the comments below helped me, I just had to go to the Edit tab instead of the Cut tab, then drag all the pictures. The 3 dots menu also appears there, but in 17 there is no option to disable Sequence, so it's just automatic from there.
