Wayne Rooney is the Mike Tyson of football. He peaked so young but his peak was phenomenal. He was a street brawler turned footballer, small and powerful just like iron mike

Mike was the best in the world for several years. Wayne was only the best in the world for one summer, and even then he got injured. I don’t hate the analogy but I think it’s a bit over the top. Especially the point about their relative sizes in their respective sports

@@daggaboom no he wasn’t, he had nothing to do with Ronaldo! Steve McLaren was the assistant manager who did all the coaching. He was regarded back then as one of the best coaches in football. If you hear ex Man Utd players talk about training sessions they all say he was the best.
