Love Supercat, Dolly my Baby is my dance song!
Super cat did not single handedly created anything pertaining to reggae or hip hop music. 🎶 Cut the false narratives , and give acknowledgment to the original rap ,reggae pioneer yellow man .

@@deadow hey man thanks for the critique!
Probably my fav dancehall artist.
I know you're trying hard to give Super Cat credit for mixing reggae/dancehall and hip hop, but that would lead me to believe you never heard the bridge is over by KRS-One. Big up Super Cat still, because he gave it NEW life, but KRS-One gets the credit for merging the two genres.
He played a crucial role which is true
You don’t have to try hard the facts are there KRS1 is one ☝🏼 f the pioneers of the style but he isn’t the only one Shinehead was involved and so was Super Cat and others I Agree Bridge is over is one of the first but it wasn’t the only one of its time.
@@DeTriniJam. Super cat did not play a crucial role in creating anything that is musical 🎵, be it reggae or rap music. He just came along and fell in after the pioneers like yellow man, shine head and others made it possible.
@@StevenBiko1 You talking like you know lol King Yellowman was the king of the dancehall dem time deh that is true but he wasn’t doing any collaboration with rappers but Shinehead on the other hand was one of the first to do so though Sound like you hating on Wild Apache legacy for what i don’t know 🤷🏽♂️
@@DeTriniJam. I do know and I am knowledgeable to speak on this topic. The first collaboration of reggae and rap,hip hop was yellow man and Run DMC ,early 1980’s . That would make yellow man the pioneer of reggae ,hip hop fusion. The narrator of this video is claiming that super cat single handedly created the fusion of reggae, Hip hop and he’s a pioneer which is further from the truth. I have a problem with that false narrative, giving credit and notoriety to an individual who did not contribute anything of significance to that particular kind of music 🎶. After yellow man, shine head and others made tremendous strides to fusion both music 🎶, cat came along , fell in and benefited from those people’s before him .
