A visit to Anderton Boat Lift

We visited Anderton Boat lift near Northwich in Cheshire. The lift was in operation so we were able to video boats entering and leaving the lift. We also walked along the River Weaver towards Northwich so there is also some footage shot along the River bank.

A walk folllowing the Trent and Mersy Canal, south from The Big Lock, Into Middlewich through three more locks. We then turn right on to the Wardle Canal which links the Trent and Mersey and the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union. At 154 ft in length the Wardle Canal is the shortest in the UK and features one lock

with which you hold the chair to the paddle board?
The board has d rings for a kayak seat. I used some small ratchet straps looped around the chair legs and the d rings

Hi this is wonderful the light shining across the sea was amazing. Love those pretty coloured houses. You captured some great colours in the skies. Why are you just dipping the paddles into the water instead of actually using them to propel you forward?
That's my Dad. (Age 80) A paddling novice. He is actually moving forward slowly! 😁😁 He has since lengthened his paddle stroke! 😁
You don't always have to paddle hard.. sometimes you want to just look around or chill.
