Hello, My name is Samantha.
I happened upon ASMR early 2019 when a lifestyle vlogger I was watching was giving tips on how to de-stress at the end of the day. Searched it on CZcams and watched my first video. Not going to lie, I thought it was weird to start but as it went on I’m like “what is this!?” in an intrigued way. Now I don’t go a single day without watching or listening to some kind of ASMR content.
I’ve wanted to start my own channel for years, privately practicing different triggers and whispers but didn’t take the plunge until now (Aug 2023) My hope in this is to help as many people as I can who are just like me and are stressed, overworked and anxious/depressed find a little solace in their day just like so many ASMRtists have done for me. Does anyone ever call you Sam? I love shortening my friends' names to one syllable for their nickname.. so if we were friends irl I'd call u Sam!
Several people do but I prefer they don’t. I actually like my full name. I allow kids to call me something shorter if they can’t pronounce it but I try to make sure adults know I prefer Samantha. Nothing against the name Sam at all I just prefer Samantha. 🙂
