Doug Mac Cleoud is a 78 year old New York born acoustic blues musician who trained in the Mississippi Delta with some old crusties. He is a great songwriter, singer and an acoustic blues guitar wizard. He was good friends with Pee Wee Crayton a R&B guitarist long passed. Hope you enjoy him as much as I have.

My wonderful Dad was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, in an old school Chinese family. He absolutely loved Hawaiian music. When I was growing up in Georgia, Dad would always play his large collection of Hawaiian records (vinyl) on his stereo system and I just loved hearing it play throughout the house. Dad passed away at age 84, back in 2013, while visiting his sister in Hawaii. Not a day goes by that I don't miss my beloved father, hearing his Hawaiian music and his soft, patient, guiding voice. This music brings me close to him in heart, again. I still have his collection of Hawaiian music and it is precious to me.

A most beautiful rendition of the old Gaelic benediction put to choral music by the Bill Douglass Singers. However, personally, I found the silly lights (suggesting, I don't know what), to be disturbing. Natural photos of the "gentled night," or of the cosmic firmament, would have been so much more "peaceful."

Good to see you are still playing the flute like I recall on the Irish Cruises 2005 and 2006 from Miami. Peter from down under Australia. I am really into Irish music now but after the 2006 cruise got married again and re settled back in Melbourne Australia.
