I never expected it to be educational. But I did enjoy the performance. Flight is not a Broadway show, but their own in-house design. I do agree with you, the song selection could have been better! @@MysteryShadow1969me too!! I was so very upset! I dragged the men to this and was ready to leave within the first 10 minutes. I did enjoy the slide show facts about the actual history of flight. When I was a little girl my father would take me to air and space museums growing up. So I was only looking forward to this show. Iskate 2.0 was amazing!! Did you get to see that show?

Yes @@anongirl420_haunting4 I go to all the shows. And (typically!) they are all fantastic! The performances from the Singers and Dancers is superb. I can't take that away from them. They did a spectacular job with it. Hope your next ship has entertainment you can rave about!

Had to get to a Distant Foreign Port. The Passenger Vessel Services Act is a Federal Maritime Law passed in 1886 by President Grover Cleveland to protect the U.S. maritime industry and national security from foreign competition. The PVSA applies to the U.S. cruise ship industry and prohibits foreign-flagged or foreign-built ships from transporting passengers between U.S. ports unless they also stop at a distant foreign port. For example, a foreign cruise ship could travel from San Diego to Hawaii, but only if it also stops in Ensenada, Mexico. So yes, waaaaaay out! :)

Yo Clo! I normally don't get a 'fancy' Stateroom, but with a Status Discount, many times the Balcony Room is the same price (sometimes less!) than an Inside Stateroom. Enjoy your Central Park Balcony in October!

Hey Scott! Nice to see you again. You're absolutely correct. One week is not enough to experience everything on these amazing ships. Good excuse to go again. ;) I've sailed on Oasis many times, before and after (duh) her Amplification! They really have breathed new life into this "old" girl. I have not actually set foot on the Icon of the Seas, but do have two bookings for Icon! And of course, I'll have plenty of Icon videos one I get on board. Thanks for watching!

Hey Bill! Thanks for watching and for the compliment! This was a 12-Night cruise, and if my tiny brain recalls, there will be three Formal/Dress Your Best nights. I believe they will be Day-2, Day-11 and one in between. I can't remember which day exactly. I suppose you could count the days and watch what days I'm dressed up in the slideshow. Ha ha.

These are great "Obstructed" Balconies. I suppose an upgrade to a large balcony could be nice if not too pricey, and actually large. Unfortunately, due to it's location, far forward, it IS a long walk from the lifts!

@@MysteryShadow1969 Thank you, 14 Jun Norwegian Fjords. The Royal Up starts at £60 pp, either bigger balcony or bigger room. I think I'll stick with 8112 (since you love it so much🤣) just glad I'm not on deck 6.

@@FreiherrKrause wise decision. The Obstructed Balconies on Deck 6 have Rescue Vessels blocking your view! Some even have the Davit launching arms blocking even more view! Save the money and spend it on a good Shore Excursion instead. Norwegian Fjords! Oooooooh. Awesome. I went there in 2022 and it was incredible! Bring a good camera with a big memory card. 😎
