Plenty of crabs in summer, but mostly undersize. Have seen the odd squid and got buzzed by a small school of kingfish once, but basically from a fishing point of view, you are right!

I think you mean the reef with all the gray clouds coming in. Head out on the Waanering road from Tibooburra. About 1k out of town are some tracks on your left. Head out roughly NE on the main track aiming at the large hills about 1k away. the reef is at the top of the largest hill. You can drive right up to it with a 4WD. Hope that helps.

I often get asked what fish are down there by fishers, and apart from crabs, squid and tommies usually not too much that gets caught. But so many other critters! Thanks for watching.
@davidplace01 yeah I didn't realise snook just hang there like that. I assumed they were always on the move. But maybe they are more of a stalking type hunter...

Those old bottles probably are worth a bit of money
I collect bottles and the ones unbroken are the champagne style which are very common and not worth anything. What always bugs me is the good bottles that are worth something are nearly always broken! I wish you were right! Thanks for watching!

2:33 I've seen that big female when I did my cage dive in May 2023! I recognize the scarred gills and injured dorsal fin. When did you go to Neptune, btw?
The amount of scarring on many of them surprised me a bit!
