We MOVED!!!
Before the last episode went live, we accepted an offer on our home. It took 6 days to sell our home! The mad scramble was on to find a new home, and after a month of searching, putting in an offer, inspections, we finally moved and I was able to finally film the last part of this video.
I do apologize for the horrible audio and filming. I was stuck using my cell phone with no mic as they were in boxes. And then of course I made the cardinal sin, filming in vertical mode!
Moving forward, I am not sure where we will go from here. Ideas are always welcome!

    • @TractorsNStuff
      @TractorsNStuff Před 25 dny

      it's on the other side. This side, where I made the tool box and mounted the 3rd function, had a step. But I removed it. It was kind of useless since the joystick for the front end loader mostly blocks the space to the seat.

    Nice video thank you. I got one coming and I think they told me six months. I hate the wait time but the part that stings the most is that they require the entire amount paid in full the day you order six months in advance. Most successful companies seems like only require a down payment 10 or 25%. Then if you don’t pick it up, they’ve got 1000 people waiting for it and they just got your free 25% down. I justified the sting due to the good reports about this grapple. I’m looking forward to receiving it.

    We just had a conversation on tbn chat about loader flex (I have an MT3 57). Somehow I had missed this particular video in the past, so I thought I would share some quick info about my dash. About 6 months after buying my tractor, (2022 MT357HC), my dash did the same exact thing. I also had noticed that since the tractor was new, the battery just didn't seem to be quite up to par. I felt it cranked a little weak. So I made the decision to replace the battery with a brand new Super Start with more CCA's. Long story short, it has not happened again with the new battery. I can't help but to think low voltage has something to do with it. With my old battery, when my glow plugs were heating, the voltage would drop down to like 9.5 volts before starting. With the new battery, the voltage drops to around 11 volts after plugs heat. Running voltage is around 13.5.

    Really enjoy your videos Nick. I like my LS MT342HC. The problem with LS is the dealer network. Some of the dealers will not work on your tractor if you bought it from a different dealer. I Have even had a dealer tell me that if I buy an implement from him he would service the implement but never my tractor because I didn't buy it from him. Had I known that was the way some dealers are I never would have purchased an LS. As it is I'm 2 hours from dealer service. Another is LS customer service or the lack thereof. You can send an email and wait for weeks for an answer. Not good. I have the same trouble you had with the wheels locking up on the loader frame. In the Loader Manual, page 28, it notifies the dealer to install the longer bolts when assembling the loader. They identify is as a M12, 1.75P x 65L. Guess what? It's actually a M10, 1.50P. And no one has a 65mm long bolt. Also the original bolt head is rounded on the top which contacts the stop much better than a flat top bolt . I called the dealer to get the correct bolts and he told me I could have a whole bucket of them. Of course they are M12 as that is what LS is shipping to the dealers. LS should be smarter than that. But keep up the good work. You're one of the best out there.

      Thank you for the kind words! A good dealer is worth their weight in gold. A bad dealer is a nightmare, especially if you need to depend on them for service and repair. For specialty parts, programming, or major repairs I will depend on my dealer. But because I can do much of my own work, and my LS is also NH, parts are easy to get. My tractor is no longer under warranty, so working on it without fear of voiding the warranty is a great feeling. However... I'd contact LS corporate about your dealer. I am assuming you are talking about having a dealer that you didn't buy from do warranty work? If so, that is complete BS! Corporate would likely have some strong words with that dealership about it. As for doing other work, outside of warranty, they are just throwing money away... well, either way, they are throwing money away. Thats just bad business. Anyway, thank you again for watching and commenting. There will be more to come soon... I hope.

    I don't know if it was said by someone else, but the small plastic piece for summer/winter mode is designed to be flipped over and put back in the saw. You will notice one side has a sun (summer) and the other a snowflake (winter). Great video overall, just got a 391 myself!
