Hello, concerned teacher here. Recently my kids have all been talking about a game called JTOH. They are acting strangely and saying weird things. A kid wouldn’t get off the slide because “I fell in a softlock ToI” When I demanded him to, he said it was “a fully legit run” When we had a blackout, the classroom had an argument about “is ToDD good?” When we went on a field trip, a kid said “tower crossing time” Please help me, I don’t know what to say to these children.

I don't think this unclear honestly. It might just because I have experienced similar stuff but like yeah. I don't know how to transition into these other parts lol but likeee uhhmm just read... When you get close to someone, it's easy to rely on that person as you need connection. And when you at are afraid of losing someone, that's when you slowly attempt to act in a way to make them happy. You don't want to hurt them, so you cover up a lot that hurts you. It's hard to realize when you are acting in a way that is hurting you until you do. And after that, it's hard to decide what to do. It's hard to be yourself again when you have acted differently toward a person just to make them happy. It takes a while to tell someone you trust something you believe might hurt them. And for the community, it's more obvious that people have just gotten more and more toxic as many people who have more influence tend to allow for bad behaviors to happen. And because of this, slowly, the jtoh community has grown worse and at this point it's probably not going to get much better. And for me, It's hard for me to passionate toward a community that steps on passion every single day. And when people forget the passion behind a game, it's hard for those people to realize that people have feelings toward this game and the community. Though that's from my experience. I might be completely off the mark, but I would just want to say that when it comes to it, leaving a community when it is making you unhappy is the right choice. It's probably hard as you don't want to lose a lot of the stuff from the community that makes you happy as you have spent a long time in it, but you will miss a lot if you don't continue looking around and trying new things. oh and happy birthday lol!!! I have said all of these to help you and like the only time we interacted was when you teleported me back in ToSITN when I got flung outside it in FToH LOL!! I hope this helps in some way!! Though if it doesn't that's fine too. Either way if you've read all of this so thank you for that. It feels weird sending long messages like this but I do prefer being vocal rather than just holding it in. Might've missed some stuff but I think I should just stop here so I will.
