Ohio River Four Wheelers - ORFW
Registrace 20. 02. 2020
Ohio River Four Wheelers (ORFW) is a non-profit off road enthusiast club in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Our goal is to enjoy recreational trail riding and to promote responsible, environmentally conscious off-roading. Our club is family oriented, with an average of twenty-five active families in our membership.
ORFW: May 2024 Vinton County, Ohio ride
For the month of May, ORFW held a members only ride in Vinton County, Ohio. This was a mostly mild ride with a few obstacles here and there but nothing crazy. There was a break down towards the end of the day but no major damage. We try to feature different ride difficulty throughout the year so there is something for every skill level to enjoy.
Ohio River Four Wheelers (ORFW) believes in connecting with the great outdoors and sharing those experiences with others. We also believe that one of the best ways to do that is with the help of 4wd vehicle.
ORFW conducts weekend trail rides once a month except during the cold months of winter. We also ride over some holidays, and sometimes other weekends. Trail rides typically begin at 9:00AM on Saturday, and last all day with lunch eaten on the trail. During the summer months, some members also ride on Friday and Sunday.

Trails featured in this video include parts of the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway(DBBB). Several local counties along with off-road groups , including ORFW, came together and created the byway using a series of linked country roads So these are not trails but roads, and require all vehicles to be licensed and insured. Super fun trail. 😊
Were there any spots that that white Grand Cherokee had issues? It’s similar to mine and I’m thinking about trying some of the trails down there.
No major issues that we recall with the grand cherokee. This route is fairly safe for stock as under all the water, which usually is much lower is solid ground or rocks. They being said don't go alone.
Hi Kevin
Hi Kevin, how are you doing?
Good Video
Wish they would allow ATVs as well.
That's a great place to ride thanks for the video
I like Keith's jeep I'll have to ride with you one of these days
Based on the meet n greet coming up November 4/5 would you say this is medium/hard, hard, or extreme based on the sign up parameters?
Glad to see that almost everyone wasn't throttle-happy through the water crossing; wasn't that deep for 31s" even.
What sections of the byway are in this video? Also what was the difficulty rating?
looked like sinking creek to me?
