Fostex 6301DT Active Monitor
The industry standard 6301N Active Monitor series now includes the model Dante version : 6301DT.
The new model has the exact physical dimensions as the current 6301N, the 6301DT offers playing back any two channels of Dante network audio signals.
Main Features:
20W Class-D power amplifier for higher output level and less power consumption.
Dedicated 4-inch full range driver for clear audio reproduction.
RJ45 Dante & 1/4” TS analog inputs.
Supports sample rates up to 96kHz via Audinate’s Ultimo chip.
Two channels of monitoring in one monitor: acts as a two-channel device on the Dante network, with a switch on the back panel to select channel 1, 2 or 1+2 (mixed) for output.
Ultra-rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure.
Recessed front-panel knob, switch & speaker grille to prevent inadvertent damage in case of a fall.
Switching power supply accepts 100 V to 240 V AC.
Physical dimensions identical to the rest of the 6301N series for easy upgrade.
Optional EB-6301 mounting bracket allows easy surface-mounting at any angle.

This is what I’m looking for! I want to add to my studio rack to simulate phone audio as a bus send, and to audition for harsh highs.
Side note: the chemical in poison oak and poison ivy (and many other plants) that is responsible for the itchiness and blistering of the skin upon contact is called urushiol. It was named after this tree.

Fostex are good monitors but the only tough thing is to get replacement parts. Especially the speaker tweeters. Its a nightmare

i love how the video makes it seem like a classy, luxury audiophile headphone with the traditional lacquer and classical music in the background but when you listen to the headphone it's a bass monster that is great for modern genres like electronic, hip hop, etc.
Says "TH-900 Mk2" like 50 times in the video and then in the end result shows a Mk1 LOL
No LDAC or APTEX HD support though. Ugh
So can I buy these to use as headphones?
Why should I buy these instead of the Sennheiser Momentums?
