If I've learned anything from these past two sea seasons, it's not whether you win the first game, but rather whether it not you win the last one (i.e. the GREY CUP). GO BOMBERS GO!

That flea flicker play on the second TD for Philpot was awesome. Philpot tricked Tyrell Ford with his movement. Announcers were talking about Montreal using Blue Bombers CBs inexperience. Both Ford and Terrell Bonds were tested... and they failed the test.

That facemask penalty against Brandon Alexander was justified. He did touch Cody Fajardo's facemask and on some of the replays shown on TSN there was an obvious tilt of Fajardo's helmet after that touch of facemask by Alexander. PS. O'Shea lost the challenge on the possibility of no yards, so he couldn't challenge that penalty call.

That big run Streveler had in the 3rd quarter. Reggie Stubblefield didn't let go of Chris' right leg after the tackle and on the next play Reggie gets seriously injured... that was an instant karma for Reggie that may cost Als some problems for sure. Stubblefield collided with Eric Lofton and fell down holding his right knee.

There was a good throw into the end zone by Collaros after he was picked off, Dionte Ruffin managed to deflect the ball right before Schoen could catch it. That was a great defensive play by Als DB. It happened just before the first missed field goal by Castillo that ended in a very stupid safety for James Letcher as he couldn't catch the ball.

When I was watching the game (I wanted to watch it live, but I couldn't, so I did watch it later with no spoilers, I managed to not spoil the result to myself) I had a feeling that Blue Bombers were looking a bit off because they most of the starters didn't play in the preseason. Zach Collaros wasn't good in the first few series, receivers were not able to catch his passes... then Collaros found his game only to threw it away with a pick (Deqouy read the pass perfectly, Collaros underthrew Schoen by a few yards). And yeah, Myron Mitchell fumbled the ball on punt return, Nic Demski fumbled the ball after a caught pass... Collaros and Oliveira nearly saved the possession on the botched play. Sergio Castillo was missing field goals and he didn't convert on PAT... that was a bad game by Blue Bombers. Als were looking way better. Even when Cody Fajardo threw an interception on the pass that was just a bit off, Brian Cole was able to snatch the ball away from Cole Spieker... it was the last time when Fajardo had a bad play... his connection with Tyson Philpot was incredible, Philpot was 10/11 with 141 yds and 2 TDs... PS. The fact that stadium was half empty in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter says a lot about the game. Fans were not happy to see their home team getting completely destroyed. PPS. I liked the way Blue Bombers used Chris Streveler. On two plays he was a RB of sorts and he's very good at running with the ball. It's an upgrade from Dakota Prukop for sure because Streveler can throw the ball better than Prukop could.

That intro... yeah, it does incapsulate how the game went for Blue Bombers.

Bombers offense looked totally unprepared and Als D made them pay.. makes you question why Bombers starters didn't play any preseason snaps? I understand wanting to minimize injuries, but why not st least 1 quarter of pre season play? Especially considering you are facing the league's top D in week 1.

The JETS are stacked. Unlucky that he couldn't find a place with our franchise, but perhaps another team will take a run with him. GO JETS GO!

Man I'm very sad today man!! The Stars trail the Oilers 3-2 in western conference finals. Hopefully the Stars come ready to play our game in gm 6. It's win or go home

I Watch the game on CFL+ Yesterday and it doesn’t matter we lose in the preseason game against Calgary Stampeders 31-10. In the start of 2 quarters before halftime I was happy our defence but in the end of the game it slow down because of Mother Nature come in. We might found our new replacement for Janarion Grant (who is our Kick Returner last season) it 100% Chris Smith. Chris Smith Performance last night wow holy yes 109 yard kick returner tds. TODAY IS CFL CUT DOWN DAY and it reveal 9pm our time. So excited who in our team this year. GO BOMBERS GO LET TAKE THE GREY CUP REVENGE ON MONTREAL ON THURSDAY

He was awesome in the Jets and it would be amazing if he'd go back. He loved the city and its people - The only problem was some players but that problem is gone already

Unfortunately I think the Jets have proven they can’t win with the players they have. They can go on regular season streaks but they are not built for the playoffs. They are defensively poor and don’t score enough. They are further screwed with not getting the best players because of location and money. I think they lost a lot when they lost Buff. I would build through the draft and get young tough kids.

I don’t love it or hate it. I’m curious at which other coaches will stay or be replaced. Gerard Gallant was a coach I was thinking about. Nice video Zack have a good one!

Arniel reminds me Jim Playfair who coached the Flames for a little while after being their assistant coach under tougher more experienced coaches. As an assistant coach he always seemed calm cool and in control, but once given the reigns he became a complete mess (throwing shit on the ice, and completely loosing it). Anybody can coach a winning team, but when you start losing it takes being able to let go and still be engaged with a plan that doesn't blame others, but accepts fault and grows. It's no surprise to me if there are people who've been attacked by this guy, trying to vent his frustration on them. He's not used to being the one to take the blame, and unless he can change his attitude and start to like being the fall guy, this will end badly.

I want DeanEvason or ToddNelson. I feel Arniel will be to nice or players will get bad habits like Maurice. Those teams he had in Minnesota were bad because of the lack of prospects/they still don't really have a center. And Parise/Suter contracts made it hard against the cap. He would know our weaknesses coaching against us. And he grew up here in Elmwood.

Liked Streveler but all the others were pitiful, hope Collaros doesn’t get injured 😮. I was watching the game and its was so very painful to hear the hella biased Roughriders commentators but I’m sure the Bombers commentators are biased as well
