Replace Dewalt DW705 Handle
I had to replace the clamshell handle on my Dewalt DW705 12” Miter saw. There are several types of these saws, each one may have a different handle. My saw is a DW705 Tupe 4a. I will show you how to check which type DW705 saw you have so you order the correct replacement handle.

    To change from straight to curved lines, its easier to (in edit nodes mode) grab the lines and drag them to the shape, they'll turn into curves and the point you grabbed will move with your mouse. That way you can turn only one side smooth as well.

    Great video, I do have a question. I have the atomstack a5m50. I want to do a test like this but on thinner wood, do I need to do more than one pass? I am having issues with settings.

    • @wesleymorrison9941
      @wesleymorrison9941 Před 3 měsíci

      You only need to use as many passes as it takes to cut through the wood (if you're trying to do that). It also depends on how much thinner your wood is, I'd just play around with the settings like power level and speed

Not sure if you are going to do small market or hobby stuff - but I am not sure this was an apples to apples comparison. Good to point out how different they are though. • @Fancylooks
    @Fancylooks Před 5 měsíci

    I think the traced line should be traced along the middle of the path to have a more precise line of the drawing, I don't understand why you draw it along one of the sides of the shapes... if you do it like that, then you could just delete the outer line, or the inner line, and complete the pieces missing in the line you are left with... you wouldn't need so much work. But I thank you for this tutorial because I didn't know how you could draw with vector lines in Lightburn, I thought you always had to import them from any other program.

    An easier way to smooth your lines is , once you make your straight line shape, select it, use the offset tool to offset out a fairly large amount, deleting the original shape, and then shrink it back to the correct size.
