I grew up running Ford tractors and the 8000 and 9000 series were the beast of the day on most farms.

We looked into that model series of Ford tractor, but there weren't any good dealers around to have good support. The Autocommand transmission looked pretty nice, but we never tried one. 👍👍

I'm from a green family, but the "orphan" 9600 we used is still the hardest pulling tractor, in the dirt or on the PTO I have ever seen. Box stock, it would pull anything you hooked it to!👍👍

Love the 9600's rolling coal! My favorite blue tractor, even if the shifter is hinky and it lacked modern cab features. They were built to pull anything you could get a hookup to!
