full take start to finish, no edits, no cheating prep. open package and dive in. i also figure out where the shims go. unlike others who put them in the wrong place! it is 1080p. if youtube isnt showing it, maybe it is still processing.

initially private. now public as project has been completed this is imaginary forestry ranger type build. i always wanted to make something like this so this body was it. i am quite aware it's not something you will find around but that wasnt the point.

Here is me playing with it out of the box. I removed the sound because well copyright music in background. Besides, who cares 40 minutes of rambling. here are the cliff notes - Will need some fitting if you use aftermarket parts - Its noisy even in finger spin. wonder how much grease will silence it - driveshaft has tight joints. bueno - 2 bearings are loose. holes too large. maybe by design? i...
Any updates on these, how they lasted, or replacement parts if anything specific to that kit breaks?

noisy deal, i'm on it. loose bearing too, just add some more grease behind. use shim too. i put 3 of these.
only fail is the smoke detector chirps, and you not knowing how to focus a camera ,don't say you need a 3000 dollar camera that's ridiculous. can you show the correct barring in in the case open with slop so we can see that its not a bad barring ,and if it is bad manufacturing why didn't you RMA it and get a new one
which is better turning radius the stock or GRC?
GRC by a mile. The ackermann eliminates the wheels fighting each other at full lock. On sand its close enough but on high grip surfaces it is a big difference. also in the smoothness of the movement as the model doesnt have to push the tires sideways.

@@Darius007713 no, I did not; and thanks for the updates
43:53 that's not because one wheel is turning in more than the other. It's because one portal drops behind the C-hub while the other portal moves in front. That's a function of the kingpin not being at the center of the tire... the further away the tire is from the kingpin the more it will move in front or behind the axle when steering. The stock C-hubs act exactly the same... obviously with the outside wheel turning in less to draw a wider radius.
Are they good or bad? Do you recommend over the stock?
I bought the g2 axle only..juz want know if the stock portal covers fit the axle?

1. it isnt beeping 2. you cant focus any more unless you give me 2999$ for a professional camera. i've tried with 2. it is what it is.

@@T00LF00L i think it might be the dishwasher upstairs.. it chirps when its ready. i didnt hear it irl tho :o i have since improved the lights down at the work area so it should be easier to focus. as soon as i have something interesting to rant about in another video tho lol

I do like a bit of noise or sound in a video, otherwise this is an awesome build
So I just installed mine everything was great except the gear where the old motor mount was did not mesh at all. On mine I have a plastic shroud where I see yours is aluminum. I also have a TRX-4 sport and am wondering if the gear is larger.
I just noticed in your video you may have had the same problem?
it will only work with the OEM sized gear. if you use the 39t integy one, it wont mesh and you cant adjust it either. GPM make steel oem sized spur. i dont know if the trx sport uses a different sized one as well
@@five5ix56 yes in the video i had the 39t integy gear. i switched to the GPM/stock size.
Haha I also just noticed you put that in your description. I have the 39 in the sport I ordered the 49. Worried I’ll be a bit slow. Now I’m worried the mamba x I have for it will be a waste.

Decently noisy but heavy grease helps it a lot. I ended up shimming the output shaft gear some more as provided shim wasnt sufficient to my liking. Other than that, much scale, much wow much worth imo. Im running a 540 motor so its not jammed up against the servo like the 550
