IF anyone was paying attention, that Xeno was not a sacrifice. It was cornered and killed by the other two. These are not like the Xenomorphs from Alien or Aliens. These were created by the scientists.

Fair analysis but I would've still liked to have seen an attempted intellectual interaction between Dr Elizabeth Shaw and the Engineers - which is what she wanted at the end of Prometheus, and which I think would've created a better Covenant story.

I wish they could show us what they're always training for , like we've only ever seen them fight humans and xenomorphs are never their main targets , so it'd be cool to see what they do after they come to earth to do their test on on earth , otherwise basically you're saying humans are their toughest opponent which is ...kinda lame . So it'd be cool to see a bit more of their world and why they want to make sure everyone is a warrior

It’s almost ironic, the creators being overtaken by the creation is something this movie had on different levels, I find it ironic that the Xenos kill humans which the creators made, and the machine humans created want to kill well the creators and the humans, but who says that David was a better option to be a creator… it just seemed like the writers wanted it that way but made no sense if something that created it’s creator wouldn’t be more interested in knowledge than being god of a race of planet killing aliens or in his mind his creation…. It just seems like something a dumb human would do not a sentient AI yes it was built by humans but a computer now WHICH IS AI is supposed to write its OWN CODE TO LEARN NEW THINGS… being empathetic or feeling guilt and other human things should and probably wouldn’t have made davids decision to wipe the creators out right away now the one pilot was hostile to David so ok that could’ve been the reason but I feel like it was the writing, a smart AI would be able to think of something rather than wipe out a whole planet just to think it’s god or like it’s the creator…. It just seems like the writers for a better movie plot wanted to make the machine crazy for suspense… I’d rather have had more of the movie explain the home WOLRD of the creators but it lightly touched on some things but vague things… was a good movie spin off or well telling idk…
