Jag har sjelv haft en sådan "Trollhätte moped" dvs 2-taktare som det osade om SAAB = Swedish Aero AB Modellen hade frihjul , man kunde koppla bort motor broms om man ville. Det krävdes rätt teknik att växla utan att behöva frikoppla , man fick synka gaspådraget till rätt varvtal för nästa växel Då växlade man sen smyga på med gasen. Det var en fantastisk vinterbil nästan somen snöskoter.

Still love the two stroke SAAB 96.In England we had to buy bottles of two stroke oil and on a damp day the car would reek! Still remember people covering their faces at bus stops and pedestrian crossings when driving past in the smokey strokey!

I remember meeting him at a Saab international meet at wicksteed park one time, I'll never forget it. He was such an excellent driver and an excellent person aswell. I'll never forget how the things he said helped me with rebuilding my car. Truly a legend

There is no way to go back in time. It is too bad that GM had bought Saab and then let it die on the vine... Semper Fidelis
