We LOVED Oslo...walked through the fortress and over on top of the opera house. Took an excursion to the viking ship museum, ski jump, and Vigeland sculture park...such a cool town. And yes the Fjord into Oslo is not a deep mountain fjord...need togo to Stavanger and then farther up north.

Why would you think that you only get to go to Animator's Palate just once? It is a 7 night cruise so you will be in each dining room twice and one of them 3 times. Every night is a different menu and everyone on the cruise ends up with the same menu and show offerings regardless of where their rotation started. The line was there because people get there way too early before the restaurant opens. If you wait until time or 5 minutes past......it goes much quicker.

We would miss out on so much that life has to offer if we didn’t have TV to shine a light on the broad road that is right in front of us. > The Science of Mental Health: How can we ever hope to help our fellow humans work through their problems if we don’t understand the latest and ever changing theories on human behavior? TV is the best and easiest way to keep up or shut up. No one wants to look foolish by telling someone that they are bad people by nature. How would we know to tell them that they are at best, good people who have issues and at worst, good people who sometimes do bad things. They need to forgive themselves and move on. But we would not know this without the doctrines of TV. > Culturally relevant sermon illustrations: Like when Ross wants to get back together with Rachel so they can have some more good old fashioned premarital sex, but he keeps messing things up. Illustration for: Sometimes we get in the way of getting what we want from God. Educational: It’s like Sesame Street for all ages. TV instructs as it entertains. > Amusement: People need to put their brain in neutral and coast awhile after a hard day at work. > Avoidance of sin: More watching = less sinning. If you are busy watching TV, you are too busy to sin. The key to true repentance could be watching more TV, not less. Play it safe. Sit and do nothing (TV) as much as possible. > What would we do if we didn’t watch TV: I really don’t know. Probably boring stuff like reading and practicing hand bells. Who would want to be like us? > What to buy: There is that rule that everyone knows about that says you can’t lie on TV. If a commercial says a product is the best, you can rest assured that it truly is. This is good stewardship. > The wise Transcendent Zen of TV: One need not search for happiness for one is truly happy when watching TV. > TV lets us know what the majority thinks: So we can go along to get along (the Solomon Asch effect). > TV help identify social deviants: Conservatives Fundamentalists > Extols those to emulate: Caitlyn Jenner, Jazz Jennings, The Kardashians and other heroes. > TV teaches us everything: What to think, feel and believe. How to behave. What is true and what is false. > Quality time with the family. > Promotes like mindlessness: When we all have the same Pavlovian responses to similar stimuli, we will know that the good work that began in us, by TV, will be complete. > (Rule of thumb: If there is no skin, there is no sin)

Just came across you. I love your honesty about your shopping decisions. I have been guilty of buying more than I need or could afford to feed my 'fantasy' self. And fill a void after divorce and heartbreak. Many items were new and hard to let go of because of the £££ spent. In the end, I was brutal with myself and did a huge purge. I told myself to see it as a lesson for future decisions. I donated all the items to charity shops (here in the UK) thus telling myself the charities will make money and the items will make someone happy. It was therapeutic once it was done!

This is such a cool & honest video. I've had the same feelings being here in Hawaii. I have no desire to go back to the states. It seems like there is so much BS back home and I want to avoid all of it. People are always angry or at odds about something. I feel so much peace and joy being away from the states. Being in the military allows us to grow outside of our comfort zone...hell I feel like I'm most uncomfortable when I'm comfortable...its the since of complacency that I hate. Its funny leaving home helps you realize what a home truly is. For us, home is the people we have surrounding us. We make family where ever we go. I have no doubt you will do the same there. I haven't watched TV for 13 years and have only owned a TV for maybe 3 years out of the last 20. There are too many positives from removing the cancer of TV from your life that it is impossible to list them all....It is absolutely liberating.

My mom used to have Sunday as the "Quiet Day". Find something to do... Draw... Write.... Crafts. But no tv or music playing (unless it was very quiet gospel). It was kind of like her "reset" for the household before Monday. We hated it when we were younger but by the time we were early teens we love and respected mom even more for it. My mom was dedicated to raising us in a peaceful home and very careful of our outside influences growing up. I love my Sunday quiet days! You're not strict, it's called being a Mother. Great content!
