Barb Tarbox went to schools sending a message to kids all around schools!!!!!!! telling them Please don't smoke!!!!!!!! i thank God to this very day that i am a non smoker!!!!!! i have seen results of what smoking does to a person!!!!! and it's scary!!!!!!!! i have met people who are called laryngectomy's and to anyone who doesn't know what a laryngectomy is. a laryngectomy is someone be it man or woman who has had his or her voice box taken out due to cancer. and they breathe through a hole in their neck called a stoma. and they speak with what is called a artificial larynx. a artificial larynx is a speech aid that helps people who have had their voice box taken out speak. the person puts the unit up to their neck or under their chin they press a button and the unit produces a steady buzzing like robot sound so they can speak.

A high school buddy smoked underage and said it relaxed him. Surely he could have chosen non toxic relaxation.

I used to cadge cigarettes for a couple of years as a student. I'm glad my grandfather, father and I stopped. Grandpa choked on a cigarette while shaving in 1954, stopped smoking and lived 60 more years!

All I know is that I appreciate his teachings and pointings and I'm quite certain that similar things happened around it Jesus, how do you explain to your family that you have begun to follow this strange man who speaks to your deepest longings? Since your mom and you had cancer most likely your daughter is going to have it to even if she don't smoke... I wish you would have spent the last days of your life worshiping and praising God our heavenly Father instead of convincing people not to smoke because they're going to do it regardless what you been through or what you say🤔 your salvation is the one that matters after you're gone. And people can have a good heart and still burn in hell if they don't believe in Jesus and if you don't have faith in God then every day you live, you're living in vain... We are made in the image of Christ we have to use this body that God bless us with to worship him for all of our Days of our lives. That's a must!

I lost both of my parents to smoking, my Dad at 57 to lung cancer and my Mom to COPD, both were awful to watch. I've never smoked , thank God, it's a horrible death.

The reality is that most cigarette smokers die in their 60’s or 70’s, usually from heart disease or emphysema. If you die in your 40’s from lung cancer, you are extremely unlucky and have bad genetics. And if you’re a chain smoker that smoked Camel’s or Pall Mall’s for more than 50 years and make it to your 80’s, you’re more than a tough cookie! You’re the epitome of endurance and strength!

Not to compare but even Jesus got very mixed reactions, to say the least. If you don't get it, then you don't get it. Simply move on. No need to criticize. Ramana Maharshi, a great Indian saint often said that Silence was the highest teaching, a true Silence of the heart, and not a forced silence. If you are approaching this with your mind, you won't get it. In response to the 'expert', Jesus didn't have a diploma either and neither did the Buddha. There are no diplomas for this kind of thing. True spirituality is not an intellectual endeavor.
