Have you noticed that the Paris Olympic track is purple 紫色 (zǐ sè)? 🏃🟣
Why is it not the regular reddish-brown color of most tracks? 🤔
It may seem like there's a connection between romantic connotation associated with purple and Paris being the City of love 浪漫之都 (làng màn zhī dū). 💌👨‍🎨
Interestingly, it is actually because purple is a combination of red + blue!
🔴 Red 红色 (hóng sè) = Vitality 活力 (huó lì), Passion 热情 (rè qíng)
🔵 Blue 蓝色 (lán sè) = Calming effect 使人平静 (shǐ rén píng jìng)
