I found the dreame x30 for about 750 dollars on ali express alot cheaper than the x40 so I am thinking to go with the x30

I'm having a docking issue with my X40 when the dock is on medium/high pile carpets. The issue is with the ramp extension where the end of it has an upward curve to it whereas the X30 ramp extension does not have that. It's flat. I'm not sure it was changed since it makes it difficult for the robot to get over that curve on the edge of the ramp as it's backing up. The issue only occurs if the mop pads are not installed. I presume that the ramp extension on the X30 will work on the X40 dock. Are you able to confirm?

Did you notice a noise increase with the tricut brush installed? For me it sounds like a lawnmower, I think it's the brush hitting the floor.

Do u have any idea if the Dreame docks are interchangable? 😅

Where which one do you think the better buy? S10, x20, x30 or x40? I still waiting for this robot to achieve AUD$ 1500, currently only S10 that go below that around $1200, still waiting for x20 to reach that mark..

Can confirm that the object detection is to way to much. after 15 "ignore" detection setups it still thinks that my lamp base needs to be avoided. To avoid this I set up to bump into thinks. it still detects this and makes photos in the app but cleans to the edge. Great video and matches my experience.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT (Dreame) ... I blame videos like this for my loss of a $1000 bricked device. Dreame is the absolute worst company to work with. they would not replace this after 40 days of working before it broke!!! sent it away for repair and it came back in worse shape than it was before!! it won't even turn on.. do not buy this

BUYER BEWARE!! I have had Mammotion's Luba for over a year and it is total crap. It runs into the house, runs over flower beds, jams itself under the firepit and car, etc etc. It has the scars to prove it. What is more attrocious though is their customer support. It is non-existent. It took me over a year to convince them that there was something wrong with it. Finally this "Oh maybe you have a motherboard with one of the bad chips" right in the peak grass cutting season here. You have to send it in to get it fixed. They will not send you a loaner. They will not give you a performance guarantee where they pay a penalty for every day it is gone past a certain amount of time. They will not use "same day shipping" even though they promissed they would. They promissed it back in two weeks, it took two months. When it left, it was pissing me off but it would eventually get the job done with a whole lot of swearing. They shipped me back a brick. It no longer works at all. I have spent well over a hundred hours with them in chat along with writing emails to try and get it replaced as it is still on warranty. All the while now having to pay someone to cut my grass. I am hoping to kick off a class action lawsuit.

Dreame is a SCAM company that sells GARBAGE products that break within a month. Don't buy it!

I have this model and love it overall - However, I experience that it does NOT empty the dustbin automatically every time, although cleaning cycle has ended. Seems like too much dust in the dustbin blocks the auto-empty function.

Pets leaving their steamers on the floor …… out they go to the back yard.

I want the easy and simple dock of qrevo, but some say the fact it gets less close to baseboards and around chair legs etc is really noticeable, strips of floor left in a different color after mopping. How noticeable was it for you? Not sure if it's a minor thing or a big gripe with the model.

I don't have kids so there are no random obstacles on my floor for the robot to avoid so this is pretty much a perfect model for me. An absolutely amazing little helper!
