The one shown in this video was 3D printed, it melted pretty quick but served its purpose. The one I ultimately used was a universal type steel flange welded to a tube that matches the bore of the carb, and the bolt pattern of the turbo intake. connected with silicone tube and hose clamps. I don't remember probably got it from Ebay or something, just measured bore and bolt spacing, it was all off the shelf, readily available parts

You can just buy a hub motor, and custom length spokes, and lace it up to your existing front wheel, that's what I did. The wheel is 18" x 1.85". The hub motor I am using is the grintech all-axle

Awesome! Sounds like you got a plan. I don't remember the jet #s / clip position, I did go a few steps rich, tuned based on the air fuel ratio gauge makes it easy. Targeting ~12.5:1 under WOT, a little rich. Too lean, too long, too bad! It runs great, smooth with no hiccups. Only thing I would suggest is to verify oil flow before plumbing it up. Restrict if too much, or you might get smoke. And make sure oil return line diameter > supply line diameter. Good luck!

ebikes.ca, the all-axle motor. Wasn't cheap, between the motor, controller, cycle analyst, batteries, custom spokes, prob about $1300+ which is more than what the pitbike costed new😂

with the new setup running at 87 volts it does about 35mph on electric power only

It has a Nibbi 26mm carb, that comes with several extra jets. I don't remember the jet numbers off the top of my head but I think I went 2 stages richer, and it runs good, ~12.5:1 at WOT

I welded a threaded bung in the exhaust downstream from the turbo to mount an oxygen sensor that the gauge reads, 12v turns it on

carb before turbo, or 'draw through' has the advantage of being simpler. Carb after turbo, may have some advantages, but you need to seal the carburetor and have boost referenced fuel pressure to the carb.

@@qt808101 you don't necessarily need a pump, you could use the pressure from the turbo boost to pressurize the fuel, use a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure increase needs to be proportional to turbo boost, or at least regulated above the boost level, but there are other things to consider. Just think, normally (aspirated) where fuel is drawn into the carb from the venturi vacuum. Now if you are doing blowthrough, the carb is now under pressure, the pressure will find any way to leak out where the carb isn't sealed (or pressurized). The boost pressure would actually push the fuel in reverse, unless you correct the pressure differential.

Yes it is possible, the controller has proportional regenerative braking capability, although I haven't tried to set it up yet
