Even though I wasn't taught the Portuguese language in my Hispanic family, I learned it anyways and it didn't take me that much time to figure out what these words meant, because since it's a dialect of Spanish I am playing around and rearranging my Spanish words into Portugal words, so like for example there some words that are very similar in Portuguese and I'll show you, some of the words are!... "Un" wich means "A" not the letter A but at the beginning of a sentence. And "Um" also means "A" at the beginning of a sentence, but what change do you notice in these two words? (Un) - (Um) You get the jist? Now to another example, is gender! (Humbre) - (Homem) (Mujer) - (Mulher) Which word do you think means (man) and (woman) in Spanish or Portuguese? (Your language optional) A. (Humbre - Mujer) B. (Homem - Mulher) C. Both above It may not sound like it makes sense, but I'm sure that whoever comments in my comment section, weather in Spanish or Portuguese some people will get the questions correct, I feel. ❤ Think of Portuguese as lego bricks or whatever you can think of, if you were to want to say "hi" in two of these languages, in Spanish it is (Holá) but if you want to say "hi" in in Portuguese, you would have to take the "H" out, and would have to capitalize "O" And you should get (Olá) those two words are not so different to me, I hope you get the jist? :) You can't be scared of a language, if you're a Hispanic person like me who is also wanting to learn Portuguese, then try learning with this method, or create a method of your own that suits you! :) ❤

Natürlich spreche ich Portugiesisch, aber auch Deutsch, Englisch und Italienisch, in manchen Gegenden sprechen sie zusätzlich ihre europäische Muttersprache und Portugiesisch, das Ding Brasilien ist größer als die kontinentalen USA, ein riesiges Gebiet, in das im Jahr 1800 und nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg viele verschiedene Einwanderer gingen. Obwohl ich kaum Spanisch verstehe, können beim Lesen dieselben Wörter ähnlich aussehen, aber eine unterschiedliche Bedeutung haben! Außerdem betrachten sich viele Brasilianer nicht als lateinisch, was für sie wirklich anstößig ist!

Yó hablo Español- es mi primer idioma, porque tengo a México en mi 🧬. Cuando yó escuché la canción Noites Traiçoeiras, al ver un video del Padre Marcelo Rossi acompañado por su compañero Belo en uno de sus conciertos, que la canción obviamente es en Portugués, comprendí CADA UNA PALABRA de la canción SIN DIFICULTAD ALGUNA. Gracias al hecho que yó crecí hablando Español, yó pude usar el Español para procesar TODO lo que se dice o se canta en el Portugués. Desde la primera vez que escuché la canción Noites Traçoeiras, se me hizo EXTREMADAMENTE CLARO que el Español y el Portugués son idiomas prácticamente IDÉNTICOS- al igual que dos chícharos en un 🫛. Y desde entonces, cada vez que he cruzado caminos con Brasileños, me les acerco y les hablo en Español, hasta tal punto que les señalo, “¡Señor, señora, comprendo el Portugués usando el Español! ¡Yó hablo Español, y comprendo el Portugués!”, y en otras ocasiones, he tenido la imprudencia de gritarles a otros Brasileños, “¡SU IDIOMA ES IDÉNTICO AL ESPAÑOL!” A mi MUY agradable sorpresa, cuando sucedieron todas esas situaciones en esos encuentros, los Brasileños NO se enfadieron conmigo- a lo contrario, esos Brasileños sonrieron, y admitieron, “¡Usted tiene MUCHÍSIMA razón! ¡Eso es cierto! Nuestro idioma Portugués y su idioma Español SÍ son MUY parecidos.” Mientras que otros estaban tan 😳🫣🫣😳😳😳😳 de que yó tengo tanto valór que les diría que el Portugués es idéntico al Español, ¡que unos se desmayaron!
