The question for me is: Why should I do this in 42 minutes??? This games has so much to discover. Has he all discovered that he is so bored to have a need to do a speedrun?

Let's put aside the amazement of this being a speedrunning video and him doing everything is 100x speed, for example, 4:03 what is that ring of plants? does that naturally occur in the game? in my 3 years of experience i never saw such a circle naturally spawned with the black weird sylva mountain plants, not to mention the leaf plants which i have never seen in the game, but eh i'll get a bunch of hate comments being like: how dare you doubt a speedrunner! like chill bruh im just pointing this weird thing out.

now with the breakdown update speedruns are going to take 3x the time because you have to do all snail and rail missions lol

btw that rocket seat warping is usable in your average adventure mode save,on anything you can ride on. the terrain glitching is not advised because you might want a clear path to the core for multiple reasons.

Does nobody realize you can take the terrain tool out and it then lets you reach objects or research items from across the map? It expands the distance you can reach by several times. Or is that considered a glitch?

I feel rather filthy after watching this... Amazing run, awesome glitches, tactics, knowledge of the game. Astroneer is truly one of those games that i refuse to play to often, so i can enjoy the latest expansion and patches like it's a whole new game.
