The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) manages cross-border European Union Structural Funds programmes in Northern Ireland, the Border Region of Ireland and Western Scotland. The two current programmes (2014-2020) are the European Union's Programme for Peace and Reconciliation (otherwise known as the PEACE IV Programme) and the European Union's Cross-Border Programme for Territorial Co-operation, Northern Ireland, the Border Region of Ireland and Western Scotland (otherwise known as the INTERREG VA Programme).
Upon the request of its Accountable Departments in Ireland and the Northern Ireland Executive the SEUPB is currently in the process of developing the PEACE PLUS Programme for 2021-2027.

PEACEPLUS Investment Area 5.2: Marine and Coastal Management
Prior to the funding call for the new PEACEPLUS Programme, the SEUPB is holding a pre-application support workshop under Investment Area 4.1: Collaborative Health and Social Care - Addiction Services.
This workshop explains:
- The requirements of Investment Area 5.2 and some of the details that are likely to be included within the call including: types of project activities expected, area of impact, the outputs for the people concerned.
- Outlined the key Policy areas of relevance in Ireland
- Outlined the key Policy areas of relevance in Northern Ireland
- Outline the key components of a strong application including EU funding requirements, and project management. Set out how to complete a Concept Note to receive feedback prior to submission of an application.
