Meet The Makers: Team Dreamrides ( Ep.1 )
John and the crew over at Dreamrides, Tennessee were gracious enough to have us come out for the weekend while they held their first annual Bike Night at Tapoco Lodge in Robinsville, NC.
Throughout the weekend we got to know John and the crew and really get a feel for how they do things down south. If you don't know John, or Dreamrides, you need to give them a visit. These guys do it all. From Dyno tunes and scheduled maintenance to frame up builds...they can get you dialed in.
The Team at Dreamrides are also well-versed in the installation and tuning of our turbo systems...so if you're ever in need of making real power and are located near Maryville, Tennessee, these are your guys!

Will this fit on a 2009 FXDB? I ordered one but I guess I got the wrong version.
This is crazy. I’ve seen 160hp plus out of the 132 kit. If I bought a 136 kit for that price and only pulled 147hp. I’d be mad.

How did you get the engine to fit height wise?
FXR Division did the frame work, they can modify them to accommodate a TC or M8.
Is it a single cam like any M8? What did you put in for throttle body and injectors?

Is there going to be a radial caliper mount to suit? which should also suit the stock swingarm for now? Also are there any plans to make some radial caliper mounts to suit the front brakes too? ( Non inverted front end )
Our current radial caliper mount will work! I believe we had to add a spacer to the inside but I can get confirmation. Send an email our way and we can get you more details.

You might be able to squeeze a 200 on there but we typically run a 180.

No, our breather kit is an optional add-on. We're running pre-orders on our air cleaners currently though.

Put a cycle Rama cam in it and toss the S&S junk cam and it will likely make 160+
The 550 cam from S&S makes great power. We run them in some of our personal bikes.

Only downside is im assuming you can ONLY fit a trask exhaust to this motor. Hopefully thats not the case, no offense guys your exhausts make awesome power but are some of the ugliest exhausts ive ever seen on motorcycles
You can fit whatever pipe you want on here as long as it's for an M8...This bike already had our pipe and air cleaner before the 136. Our exhaust systems are designed for big inch builds, specifically our Big Sexy. If you don't like our product, that's fine, but no need to bad mouth us on the internet. We also offer a standard 2-1 Assault system which is more in-line with what the younger generation is looking for. Take it easy.

These crate engines run about $12k USD before taxes.
Shoulda swapped it for the CR550 FAFO And a full length 2-1 But yea I know … Trask .. so gonna be one of theirs Does this motor have a proper crank in it ?
We designed this exhaust for High Output builds. Do full lengths typically make more power? Yes...but we've spent a lot of time on R&D with our stepped headers and baffles to give the right amount of back pressure for big inch builds. Plus, the S&S 550 puts out great numbers. A few of us at the shop run them on our personal bikes.
Beautiful swingarm. I recognize the calipers, but is there any chance you could tell me what bags/ bag guards and levers those are?
FXR Division Bags/Cages, Rebuffini hand controls/calipers.
Do you need to readjust the push rods?
Nope! You're not messing with your pushrods adjustment, just simply bringing them to TDC so that you can re-install your rocker arms easier.
