I gasped when you wasted the egg yolk in the trash..Would definitely have passed out if you'd wasted all four! 😂. Food waste is such a terrible thing.
Those look yummy! Ideas... How to stock a basic pantry (spices, flour, oil, sugar, ect) Measure while baking but cook from the heart. Cooking essentials(pots, pans, utensils) Fold/Pinch/Dash/Knead/Boil? What is it?
Bacon 🥓 in the oven
Thank you for the recipe! I have to avoid gluten so I am going to try this using my gluten-free Schar Entertainment crackers. I know it will be delicious.
You all will Miss Maureen when she leaves. She will miss being with you.
Spinach or broccoli can be added. I made many quiches. Swiss, ham 4 eggs and half and half or heavy cream. Spices of choice
Do they have to be married? Why not make it for anyone just leaving home. Most young people are not getting married before they learn how to cook these days.
The horses are beautiful
What a great top using the empty water bottle to pick out the yolks.
This generation love to spend lots of time with their friends, so maybe some quick entertaining appetizers, casual, no fuss recipes. They love the casual vibe, with not too much work.
I would never throw egg yolks away you can use in omelets , quiche , egg salad or anything. 😢Food is so expensive now .
Do you cook them in the oven. If yes how much time.
Great idea, I personally would start with basic tools/cookware needed in the kitchen for beginner cooks.
All 3 of my grandson’s had to take home economics in school. They loved it.

Love this idea of the crust for real coconut cream pie 🥧 😋
For first course I would definitely do the basics as another viewer stated (what to always have in your pantry, how to wash produce and store properly, measuring ingredients, cutting, kitchen safety). I used to struggle with knowing when meat was fully cooked so that would be good. Also, just "real" meals. Simple, budget friendly meals and teaching them how to meal plan. Definitely more than one course for sure. Start with basics and move all the way up to gardening and canning! Love it! Wish you the best of luck.
Saw this recipe video pop up. I subscribed! Already shared the egg trick to my daughters and niece.
You might want to use those oven plastic bags that’s heat treated ( for roasts, turkey, etc) might be safer than regular plastic bags when cooking the potatoes 😊
Yes
I’m Italian and cook Italian and when I saw all the ingredients you used I said to myself no way. Love the one pot meals. kept watching and thought it might be good after all because I eat all those ingredients in different recipes. When your husband said he could eat it every day, I said to myself I will try it. All the reviews were very good and decided I would make. I’m old and enjoy trying new things. Was surfing and caught your video by accident. After reading all the good reviews, I decided to see what else you cook. Maybe this old gal can learn new ways of preparing a one pot meal. Thank you for sharing.Hello from Newark, Delaware.
The biggest problem I had as a new young cook was arranging my time so that everything being served was ready at the same time.

Hey there
Cheap and easy healthy recipes
Your dessert looks wonderful. I wonder how it would taste with a little bit of drained crushed pineapple. Or maybe chocolate chips like a "magic bar". Cooking course would be great.
Love the idea of just a good old basic sugar and cracker pie! No messing around with whole eggs, fruit, whipping cream or any ingredient that might carry any real nutrition or flavor. A true Amurican recipe and so easy!

Don't forget college students living on their own.😊
I wonder if some crushed pineapple,or strawberries or any kind of fruit would work with this? And a drizzle of chocolate syrup or a handful of chocolate chips!
To start keep it somple
Some young people do need the kinds of videos you are talking about. Unfortunately recipes and cooking techniques are not passed down through a family like the used to be. However, the industry is quickly becoming saturated with home cooks, home chefs and just the number of "foodies" we have in the world. This is where I become the bearer of not so great news. In order to be successful in that endeavor, you'd have to be super polished, add more camera angles and lighting, maybe a professional presenter, have written scripts instead of just chatting as if you were cooking with a friend in the kitchen, and maybe most importantly, it would have to be MUCH faster than the style I think you're used to. I am from the South! Believe me, I know slow!!😂😂 We just have a much different pace of life. That would not make for a profitable or entertaining video. But I think u are on to something. I can see you really want to share your knowledge with others. Maybe you should try that within your own family and community. Have your kids friends or family friends come for an afternoon of cooking a big dinner. They would appreciate the laid back atmosphere and tips that were handed down to you. You definitely have a place in the genre. I'm just afraid the fast-paced world of food "influencers" might eat you up & spit you out. We need you to keep those traditions going where people pass on their learned skills to the next generations. I don't wanna see u get boxed out and stop making the kind of content you love. It would be a shame. My brother (believe it or not) has made this dessert in pie form (we call it Ritz Pie) for every holiday since he was about 16. He loved it so much the only way he could guarantee it showed up to every holiday table was to make it himself! 😂 Now that he's 50+, it still makes it's way to whatever holiday table he's at!! I guess 35+ years of tried and true is definitely the kind of proof of yumminess I can get behind.
Totally agree with home economics. Vickie you need stand mixer and beat your egg whites and do something else 😉. Totally envy your kitchen.
Yes, cooking classes for all of us. A lot of the basics. Would love to learn how to season meats and vegetables.
I like your kitchen cabinets. May I please ask what color they are? Thank you kindly!
So think one of the basics would be what kind of tools, pans, and stand alone cookers and good to start with.
I was watching your video and I was wondering what size cup he is using?
Wonderful idea on the cooking plan.
I taught my girls how to cook when they were toddlers. My dad was a wonderful cook and he taught me. My mom could burn going water
I will definitely try this recipe, I’ve never seen anything like it. It sounds yummy. Your idea for newlyweds & just starters is fabulous! 🌺These are some ideas from my experience. In 1973 when I got married I had no idea how to set up a kitchen. What ingredients needed to bake & cook with. And when cooking how they work together for favor. All I knew how to do was bake simple. I didn’t know the difference between soy sauce and Worcestershire 😵💫or why an onion & green pepper was important to flavor. I had a cookbook for baking but not for cooking. You know books were the how to back then.
I think a lot of young people would benefit from a cooking course! (Adults, too - I know a lot of older adults who don't cook). Knife skills, how to cut vegetables and meats, and how to measure ingredients would be a great place to start.
Have mercy, I’ve cooked for my kids, nieces and nephews, friends, neighbors etc. when they all grew up and moved out they kept calling asking how to make this or that. I finally paid a company to print out a cookbook with all of my tried and true recipes. 😊
I love the name Chip 66
