I've actually gotten this to work on the newest version, you'll need the unencrypted .bed files. After you replace the new ones with the old ones you'll also need to replace every music file with a new one. (Can be the same song, just needs to be a different file). If you don't do that all the original music will have no sound in game. It's tedious but works lol.

is there any reason there are 2 song folders and does it matter where you put new songs in?

the bfs files at 0:47 are not there in my installation folder so how am i supposed to follow the instructions lol nvm found a different tutorial telling me to simply use the data.bfs file and unpack that one instead

Everything works great, however all the original music files are quiet. My custom ones play, the only difference is I used the official mod manager.

this games dumb because when i upgraded to the second car i could buy for $14400 i went back to the very first race i could do to grind for money. the AI had sped up and were keeping pace with me. what the hell is the point of upgrading your car?

I noticed similarities between cars like the BULLET from the first part, although it was there in the bronze cup, and the VENTURA car from the second part, but it is already in the racing class, which has the significance of the silver cup in the first part of Flat Out. After so many years I noticed this, but am I the only one so attentive?
