Du hast die falsche Frequenz benutzt. Stelle die Frequenz so ein, dass der Dekoder auf der anderen Frequenz steht. Es wird nur ein einfacher 1-Frequenz-Dekoder benutzt.

No, it's Just e ink being e ink
Yes, you can see afte a full refresh ghosts in the background. This display has problems with ghosting. Thats only a test with a run over a longer time to find display problems.
Can this also display letters and sentences? And btw, where are the letters and numbers coming from? Computer?
The display content comes from a ESP32 dev board. You find it on left side.

is this display permanently damaged? If yes, could it be due to continuos power supply? And did the first display responded better?
No, the display ist not demaged. After power off over a longer time coming back the old status. In this case are the LTUs and the voltages not correct adjusted.

have you added some uv protection on top of epaper?
Yes, on top is a protection foil added. But it is not UV. It is IR. The acrylic glass block the UV.

Ja, das funktioniert auch, wenn Du eine Mini Whip als Antenne benutzt.

Ja, ich bin ganz zufrieden damit. Er läuft jetzt schon seit 2019 ohne Probleme auf meinem Boot. Ich biete aber keine Bausätze mehr dazu an, da der Windsensor Yachta einfacher nachzubauen ist.
ok, Danke schon mal. wie hoch ist denn der Stromverbrauch? Ich suche eigentlich ein simples, autarkes System das mit Battery betrieben wird und kabellos das Signal uebertraegt. Da gibt es wohl in paar professionelle Loesungen, alle so in der $500 + Region. Klassisch, mit Kanonen auf Spatzen schiessen 😞 Hast Du vielleicht einen Hinweis, wie ich drahtlos ein analoges Signal ueber 10 m schicken kann? Ich spiele gerade mit einem Inspeed Sensor rum, eigentlich ideal, aber der braucht halt ein Kabel.

Thanks for the video Norbert Walter! If possible can you share your code or guide me how can you able to get such larger fonts. I am working with 1.54 inch epaper display from the past 1 week. But I am unable to use the larger fonts. The max font waveshare provided is 24px.
This is great!! It looks like you’ve managed to resolve the issues with artefacts during refresh. I’m currently having similar issues in my own project, what IR protection foil did you use?
Partial refresh its cool until the epaper starts to burn in. At least this type of epaper, if not flashed, can result in temporary burn in
There is no burn in effect with the e-ink display. I had the display updated non-stop every second for over 1400 hours without any noticeable aging effects.

You can see the faded image of the previous numbers. This would be really cool for devices that only update parts of the screen at once like a batter indicator on an e book reader.

Klasse ..... haben wollen !!!Mehr brauchich draussen nicht mehr. Mein RasPi drinnen mit dem 10" touch screen und Open Plotter und das Multifunktionsdisplay draussen. Alle Datan verwaltet in Signal-K
Ich benutze nur noch ein Tablet mit der AVnav App.
