Does the s1000rr have a short first gear?
Had one of you ask about the first gear and if it was short.
I wouldn't say it is necessarily short. It's not super long, but it's length has never bothered me.
Take a look at the video and let me know if you have any other questions.
Catch ya in the next one!

Hey everyone, In todays video I am installing the Rizoma Stealth Mirrors as well as the Rizoma Leggera LED Turn Signals. I haven't seen a full install video of the Leggera turn signals on CZcams, so I hope this is helpful! At then I do a first ride ... I'm not sure the Rizoma stealth will be staying on my bike, but I figured the install video might still help anyone out there looking to swap th...
Should You Get An S1000RR - 1 Month of Ownership

In this video, I'm sharing my thoughts on the BMW S1000RR for 2022. This bike is perfect for anyone looking for a superbike that can do it all - from street riding to competition. I really chose this bike because of the multiple people saying it could do both track and street equally well. I wanted a bike that was comfortable to ride on long trips, but could also perform when I eventually take ...

New Bike Day, STEAL?! 2015 Honda CBR 600rr Full Black
Good information, but inefficiently presented. 15 minutes to cover details that should only require 8. This video demonstrates that focusing on the road can be of secondary importance?
What happens if u don’t get the title in ur name
great comments.. nice bike, enjoy be safe 👍
It’s a lot easier to replace the OEM bleed nipples/fittings with Speed Bleeders. You could’ve installed them and flushed the brake fluid in 20 minutes or less.
One fall on this bike these mirror would break easy
Bro I used to work by that Whole Foods in the very beginning of the video lol
Do I HAVE to get insurance in order to get my new tag/title at the dmv or can I go with out proof of insurance but I already got the Title , it’s an 2007 ninja 500r I don’t need insurance in that
I got a title but they didn’t give me a tag or anything, so now I’m confused 😭🙏🏼
Do I have to have insurance on a Honda grom clone
You have to have insurance on anything that uses the state roads yes
Will you get a temp plate from the dmv after title transfer if the owner kept the license plate? Bought a bike drive it home. It has no plate or inspection so how n where would I get a plate from
It might be different in different states but when you go to register the bike at dmv they give you a plate right away
Picking up a used grom while mt09 gets delivered. Never registered a motorcycle before.. this will come on handy
Glad I could help!!
Congrats on the new bike(s)!!
Thanks brother!@hobelmotorsports
I just installed these Rizoma mirrors on my 24 s1000rr. A note for those that are about to pull the trigger on one. You will not have the visibility of the stock mirrors. Not even close. Does it look bad ass? Yes! Is it a quality product? Yes! For those that complain about the price, you get what you pay for. If you spend 30k on a bike, why would you go cheap on accessories? I keep mine flipped down so it's just like a blade. As a matter of fact, I didn't even take the sticker off the mirror portion. Looking at them, it just looks like another winglett. When paired with the Rizoma turn signals....👍
Exactly !! Perfect comment
Can I DM you for more details
did you only need one bottle to fill it up after fully draining the old fluid?
For anyone that is looking for the brackets they are called the "Rizoma Leggaera Turn Signal Mount" just fyi
Can you register a bike with the learners permit ?
yes
Enjoy, the BMW is perfection the tune+ is well worth it and the benefits are through out the rev range and it opens the valve on the stock pipe.
Why don't you upload Motovlogs anymore
I’ve been contemplating on getting these and I just can’t convince myself to pay almost $500 for a winglet/half of a mirror visibility.
It was horrible. Took them off same day haha
@@hobelmotorsports maybe it they were $50$-100 and that’s a big maybe I would get them. But for $450+ I coud spend that money on a nice exhaust
@@Spiri2 facts! And tbh the money didn’t bother me as much as not being able to see without moving my arm out of the way 😂
@@hobelmotorsports yea that’s what I was afraid of. It looks sick when they’re folded down but just not worth. Good choice on taking them off
@@Spiri2 100% mate!!
Best idea - leave it as stock. After market useless mirrors and indicators in useless position!

I just got a lifen kpm 200
Right on!!
I'm getting a lexmoto lxr 125
I never got the attraction of the Rizoma mirrors. I love the stock mirrors on my S1000 because the fold in - very handy for filtering or parking it in a tight spot in the garage.
Agreed 10000%
Sucks to have to use mirrors on the outside instead of cameras
i really like your camera setups really really cool we get to see the ride from both angles keep it up. I just subscribed
Thanks mate!! Greatly appreciate that
im looking to get a 2019 r6 for my "first" bike, i have ridden an r6 in the past but that was maybe 2 years ago and it wasn't even mine haha. she's kitted out and i must say she's absolutely gorgeous....with a hefty pricetag tho thats for sure
Hey man, I’m 16 and I have bought a bike from a guy with the title in my possession and filled out. So do I need to have my motorcycle license to get tags? I’m in VA. Should I put the title in my name before I get insurance or wait?
Same kinda situation I’m in. Im in MS
@@WheelieOutlaw I figure it out. For VA at least. Just needs to have insurance and an inspection I believe to get tags. I’m gonna ride without my license for a while
What is a general tax amount you have to pay for the bike at the dmv?
Varies by state in FL it’s 7% sales tax
Hello, I didn't quite get the title part. So if I want to buy the motorcycle from a private seller, do I just have to get their title and take it to dmv for registration?
google it why are you asking in a random youtube video lol
Thank you🙏 just picked up my fist bike ever and I’m too hyped
Heck yeah!!! Congratulations mate! What did you get?
@@hobelmotorsports just a lil ninja 300 to practice on. Good thing it wasn't an expensive bike cause I already high sided on the freeway 😭😭. No broken bones just a broken spirit
@@jesse.barreraa oh dang! High side on highway?! That sounds like it must have been wild. Glad to hear you’re more or less ok. Hope you got back out there?
I would if I was a sport bike guy. I got the R1250GS… I’m old
To be comepltely honest my dream bike is the R1250GS. I figured I’d ride this for a year to get the experience since I doubt I’ll want to do it later on. Lately I’ve been weighing the idea of selling this in a few months or start of next season and get into a GS and keep it for life. That’s the plan on paper anyway
Thanks for your comment! About to make a video about the year of owning this (and putting 10k miles on it)
@@hobelmotorsports It is the most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden. I thought the extra large adventure tank would be an issue. It wasn’t. I can go 300 miles without a stop. And it is still nimble and will raise the front wheel with no problem when gassed.
@@thatguy8005 I love it!! I was just talking to my buddy about it today. I might have a buyer for the S1K next week and if so the R1250GS is going to be on order!
When insuring a bike does the Person insuring it need to have a car license or is a motorcycle license necessary
Unless I am mistaken or misunderstand your question - or if you are outside of the US and it’s different(?) - you can’t get a motorcycle license without already having a license to drive on public roads(a car license) The motorcycle licence stacks onto the normal license.
@@hobelmotorsports hi sorry thank you for the information I didn’t get my question across really well. is having a motorcycle license necessary at the moment when calling to insure the bike?
@@alixbaez1148 ohh I see - I don’t think so. You’ll just need the vin and possibly registration information if I remember correctly
@@hobelmotorsports thank you for your video it was one of a kind

Thank you mate! Ah! Love Germany. Have stopped in and explored a few times. Need to do a longer trip there. Thank you for commenting!
Hey ! Thanks for the video ! I only see bad comments on how you won't see sh*t with these mirrors but they are definitely the sexiest ;) Did you find a cleaner way to manage the cable ? Again, thanks for the quick install video ;)
Hey man! Thanks for your comment! I actually completely removed the mirrors and am back to stock now 😂😂
@@hobelmotorsports 🤣 why ? Couldn’t see anything or problem with the law ?
@@Raptao12 dude couldn’t see anything and i couldn’t mount my 360 cam on them 😂 it was terrible hahaha
Thanks for thorough review (and background that led up to this S1000RR). Am in the same boat as you (almost); now looking to get one myself however insurance just freaks me out. Full coverage with $1k deductible, they’re asking for ~$1900/year (here in Kalifornia). What’s it like for you, roughly, where you are? Thanks in advance.
thanks for your comment man! i actually need to make my year of ownership video soon! and yup! my insurance is about $1800-1900 in NC as well. so definitely not awesome but gosh this bike is perfect lol are you looking to get into a 2022 or a 2023?
this was not the best way to do this type of educational video lol this sucked
In terms of him driving the bike while speaking or him just matching the audio with him just riding I think he did quite well since I'm thinking about getting a bike and it was easy to understand since he didn't use big fancy terms that most people do unintended
@@LazyStud3nt thanks for being encouraging when I failed. I appreciate the content for what it's worth!
5:06 It doesn't seem you need the heated grips since you don't use the grips at all.
Haha!!
If we need to do inspection, are we allowed to ride the bike there with no plates? Also, When we are ready to submit the title to dmv, I assume the bike needs to be present? Do dmv check the vin on it?
Fyi the inspection does not need plates. And no need to take the bike to dmv. It’s actually to the tax office. They don’t need to see the bike.
Man what state you live in? Looks beautiful out there
NC brother!
@@hobelmotorsports thanks! Ride safe 🤙🏼
I’m in one of the situations you mentioned- the guy that sold me the bike didn’t have the title in his name but the title is in the name of the guy that he bought it from. I’ve had this bike for 2 months now and have no idea how I can register it. I was pulled over once on the bike (no plate) and the cop ran the vin to check if it was stolen and it wasn’t. Hopefully somebody will stroll across this comment and help me register it… can’t find any info on this situation.
Get bill of sale , notorized and signed by seller/dealer with title in nj not sure your state requirements but they will flag it with more then 3 names because only a dealer can put more then 2 names on a title hope this helps 😅
bonded title maybe?
damn im in the same situation smh
Hey bro! Question about insurance! How much do you pay a year or monthly? Bike looks amazing!!!
Thanks bro!! I was paying about 180 per month on it for the first year and for some reason it went down a few months ago to 150. That’s full coverage
Take it you returned the Rizoma mirrors? You would be better with the barend mirrors, looks better i think
Returned them same day 😂
Decided to leave stock ones on so I could mount my 360 camera
What in the world are y my talking about? No soul?
That’s just what other people say, I love it
do you think i could jump from my ninja 650 (first bike) to this? my ninja has no abs or anything, and i want a bigger bike that has good tc abs a;; that to help manage it. I just dont know if 600 is the way, or going strait to a 1000cc
TBH I think about this often. If you are a thoughtful and attentive rider I see no reason why you shouldn’t get the S1K. Without the tune it is very easy to manage. And the ABS + TC tech is insanely good. I was out today doing a test ride on gravel and dirt roads and can grab a fist full of front break and it will calmly stop me without any issue or sliding. It’s nuts.
Rare sight in Ireland
What is the Flats spot??
I’m 5’ 5” what is the seat height on it?
Thank you for your excellent video. I recently purchased a 2023 model with the M package , having owned a Ducati V4S (2018) and a 2017 s1000RR. I absolutely love it. Whilst it doesn't quite have the sex appeal of the V4S (although each year, I think the S1000rr is getting better and better looking) it is a joy to ride and I love having cruise control whenI I go for longer rides (I live in the south of Spain). I don't miss having to feather the clutch at low speeds on the the V4S, and the V4S's terrible mirrors and incredible engine heat. The s1000RR is a gorgeous machine and beautifully engineered. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
Oh man! Love this. Thanks for sharing man. And I appreciate your kind words about my video. Its warming up here now so I can finally make some more! Congrats on your M1000RR!!
and what you say about the torque in comparison with panigale v4? i have traded mine for a s1000rr 2023 and i’m waiting the bike. i am curious about how the torque is on bmw s1000rr with shift cam
