No. Stele, alternatively spelled stela, pronounced as 'steelee' or 'stella'. "Steel" is essentially the single wrong way to say this word. Steelee, stella, steela, steelay, stellay, and stell are all used. Stele like 'steel' is a completely unrelated word.

@@foxydragongamingYeah no problem. 😄 Both steel and steeley are acceptable pronunciations. That guy just had to one up me. I was teaching you my pronunciation which is an official way to say it. I figured I didn’t need to give you all the pronunciations, because that can get confusing. I know this language is already difficult enough with our many words that sound the same, but are spelled different, and the multiple pronunciations for words. I wasn’t trying to overload you with information. But yeah say it however you want. 😸I doubt you will encounter that word much more in your life for it to be a problem. 😅

@@NocturnalNickIt can be pronounced as steel or steeley. You are partially right, but you are not correct on saying my way is wrong. Steel is perfectly acceptable, and plenty of people say it that way.
