Returning to LZ Action on Highway 19 in a M-113 after dropping the M-48 off at base camp in Pleikue. Lots of odd and ends. Making Jiffy Pop with C-4 to lots of Huey's flying by.
I joined in 1965 Nov went to Basic at FT. Dix N.J. then A.I.T. FT. Gordon GA. 1966 Then off To Vietnam with the 1st. Cav. Div. Aco 2/12 Camp Radcliff in the Central Highlands An Khe Vietnam. If our Leaders Had Any brains then we could have Defeated the North In less then A year .But same as Now we Have Brainless President Like Dumb A## Johnson Then A jerk Like Nixon now we have dumb A$$ Brainless Biden.. And the call Girl VP Harris and Nazi Pelosi

B/2/8 (mechanized) / 4th inf div. ... 68/69 ... left a little skin at LZ Action myself ... remember the pair of Dusters at the front gate off hwy 19. Believe LZ Action was there to protect that pump station that was across the highway a little to the south and reactionary for convoy assistance before getting to the Mang Yang Pass. Damn beautiful country, but there was a lot of lead flying around.

I was based Camp Holloway 9/66-9/67. Worked at checkpoint 88 dispatching trucks. Wasn’t a lot happening on hwy19 except GI’s exchanging fire with the Arv’ns think our guys were bored. Sept 14 67 return convoy was attacked in the Anka Pass killed I think seven drivers and passengers. Sounds like it got nasty after that . Wm 90th CS
