if you have a regular weather radio, you can program it for one specific county, if you want. if the availability of programming one county to be enabled and go off when warnings are issued isn't there, you can always look up the S.A.M.E code for your county. me personally it was not wise to get rid of it because it could save your life and others lives in unexpected scenarios

@@AILOCgBpmWO it was kind of redundant because of the existence of local news channel phone apps providing weather updates. for reference, i live in oklahoma, which probably has one of the most robust and efficient weather services in this country due to our circumstances, so heads-up for unexpected scenarios comes quite often.
