A Brit who has Africa in her heart. These videos are mainly for me, my friends and family. I'm no Spielberg, just an older lady who likes to put together footage so that when I can no longer travel I will have these to look back on.

Passing the cyclists on the D1918, taking part in the 50 hour non stop Munga Grit Le Dur bike race. This was the very early stages of the race on May 17th. Full of admiration for the riders, 34c, dust and gravel roads.....they are made of tough stuff.

One of our favourite campsites in Namibia. Huge sites, good shared ablutions. Stunning scenery. Lots of shade from large trees. Tranquil and peaceful. Having spent a total of 3 months in Namibia over 3 visits, this is in our top 3 campsites.

What percentage of this road is gravel or in km distance
We didn't take note of that but the easiest way to work it out is that B roads are tarred, all other roads C & D are gravel. I think if you look on Google maps it will give you a good estimate, it would also depend on your route.

@meks4by4overlanding21 we were in Namibia during April and May for our 3rd time. It really is a fantastic country. We try and stick to D roads, we love the roads less travelled by others. 😃

I spent ten days in the park in October of 2022. I'm heading back for another ten days in April 2024. It looks like the bush will be much more verdant in the Fall:)

Thank you Karl, we're getting older so need a video to remind of us of which camp is which, especially the Bushveld Camps lol. Bateleur is so peaceful and one of our favourites.
