When you’re performing the maneuvering of the keyhole and other maneuvering, do you press down on the handlebar into the turns until you complete the turn?
A low c g helps with tight maneuvers but the added height of bars doesn’t help. A slight drag of rear brake also helps. There’s no way I could run this course with my sport-tour bike with longer rake/trail designed for fast corners and high speed stability.
Another response from a person that’s ignorant to actually whats taking place here! If this isn’t your cup of tea per say then please remove yourself so you don’t have to subject yourself to it any longer ! Its as simple as that my friend!
Just to make sure I understand, is he using the friction zone balanced at a perfect point to basically not accelerate enough to move forwards while also not roll backwards? If so, that is pretty darn impressive, and now that I think about it, a skill I should practice with my own bike until it's second nature.
No the it’s basically using engine braking to back the motorcycle from a trailer or a hill etc .. engine braking allows both feet to on the ground for stability while easing the clutch out or in allows the motorcycle to roll or stop without the use of brakes which could allow the motorcycle to slide

Awesome maneuvering
👍🏻🙌🏻
He smooth with that counter steering
I like the perspective of the drone👀 nice maneuvering
Smooth transitions.. nice work as always! What size handlebars do you have?
Safe!
Like a boss✊🏻
🤟🏻
That's some damn good slow rolling!!
You look like you're enjoying yourself. Well done.
Diagram and measurements?
How old is this gentleman? Very impressive
Near 70… He didn’t even start riding until He was 60…
Somebody please show him how to get out of that cone trap.,,,
Lol …
You never have to maneuver like this in a town or on the open road, not even in your own driveway
Are trying to make a point?? So What your really saying is YOU don’t use maneuvers like this however we do.. lol

This particular course can be done on pretty much any motorcycle that can turn in 18ft….
Steady perfection
Jamie Ray - do you use your legs and push down on the floorboards when making those quick lateral transitions?
Sometimes I push down On opposite floorboard to unload front suspension- it helps Lighten the front end do the bars are easier to turn
Awesome riding technique.
Them Carolina boys brought their “A” game! Nice riding Doug and Al!
Great drone footage!
Go Doug, Go!
Nice. A few well handled tight spots And great music choice
He’s got gyros in his saddlebags.
Impressive! Man I struggle with this stuff.
Doug never looked better!
What's really impressive is that there was no scraping or if there was it was extremely minimal. That's some serious control.
Smooth operator
You have to have tried or done lots of cone work to appreciate the skills exhibited in this video. Amazing.
Oops, forgot to get to 1st gear. 😊
Love it! So smooth and precise. Hard to tell if there was little it no rear braking but either way, really excellent clutch and throttle coordination.
What’s the name of this pattern? Where can I get the dimensions? Thanks great stuff
@@jamie98656 that would be great. Maybe put it in the description. Thank you very much!
In which gear is he riding these manoeuvres?
1st sometimes 2nd
Up to 250 2nd, Then for big CCs 1st is fine
@ 0:50 He turns head all the way right, you go where you look.
Yes, and don't touch the front brake😉
Some new LEDs by Custom Dynamics??? 😊
Your all videos are very good.
Another boring video about something you'll never need to do in real life. And only if your being chased in a parking lot with alot of cones in it.,,

What is the first bike? Very nice

😂😂😂😂 the fact that u posted this
nothing wrong with practicing riding. better to know what your doing than to know what road rash feels like.
Seems your rather ignorant to a learning process …. Feel free to unfollow !
what's wrong with it??
Always a good idea to play around in a 4 way stop intersection.
Lol well Id advise checking gor traffic and cops… otherwise its great training
Great job, Doug!
寒いですよね。見た瞬間、恐る恐る乗ってます。ただ一言「目線が遅い!」
👍👍👍
Keyholes with a side of bleeding ulcers impossible please. Definitely a challenge to the goldwing cone riders like me.
Great riding guys!
Nicely done
I could set it to loop and watch it for 5 hours straight! LOL

@@jamie98656 I see, thanks for the explanation!
I have no idea what the FUCK is going ON, but I hear megadeth and see guns so i know it’s probably AWESOME!
Lol … America!
ハーレーですから、傾けるには限界が浅いですよね。 でも、旋回に入った時の「目線」がいいですね。
