I remember when this came out it definitely did not get the flowers it so truly deserved lol. it was just too fruity for all the bros, and I think they were like his main demographic at the time. if you ask me, I'd say this was prob the last comedy he did that actually lived up to the Borat hype. it was a great follow up. unfortunately a lot of dudes were still pretty homophobic to some degree, and Sacha really went ''all in'' on some of the scenes if you catch my drift lol. it's a shame really cuz this shoulda went down as one of the funniest comedies in history, and he definitely went downhill after this. I believe his follow up was ''The Dictator'', and man that movie was a slam DUMP! I don't think I laughed once during the entire thing. i think what it was, is during Borat and I believe Bruno as well, he was actually having Seth Rogan and Jonah hill do a lot of the writing, and those dude's were on fire back then. the combo of Sacha's amazing character acting and Seth and Jonah's clever writing was just too perfect.
