  • @ICONFESSONEBAPTISM
    @ICONFESSONEBAPTISM Před 4 měsíci

    13:00 GXV160 utility mowers are real good, I use a kubota with a gxv160 but honestly the US version with the kawi engine are the better ones... I want to cut some holes on my kubota deck so it discharges even better, then have a seperate 21" for catching... The issue is getting it to spray evenly and not in directions which will paint walls green, a 6 or 7 horsepower would be better since gxv160 is only 5.5hp... also they need an inbuilt fan system to assist with the deck air flow, the more flow the less build of resin inside leading to clogging. And the blade system has to be designed in a way where the resin doesn't get trapped and start to build up... up here in NQLD discharge mowing is really effective, push mowers and ride ons that don't have the right power or discharge system get defeated here quite often due to the sheer thickness and wetness combined

    Battery and microchip industrial complexes are super toxic toward the environment despite all this talk of petrol being needed to be banned for environmental benefit. Just to make one battery for a tesla car requires so much deisel, machinery, materials, it reallt just doesnt make sense as a new mode of production in place of oil. To farm the materials requries deisel machinery, this problematic can never be rectified even if you had entire planets of farms and elec based machines, you need oil lol...

    Any thoughts on the cumulative effects of electric power equipment on the body? Yes, less vibration is ideal for long term health, but combined with long term exposure to unhealthy amounts of EMR emitted from the electrical components, it might not be objectively "better for health" than petrol. But some people may consider it necessary, maybe all their work is at a village where high noise and vibration can cause others pain, health issues get triggered, etc, therefore electric would be the better choice. Personally I just dont want some one world government douches being able to decide what time I can start work, conduct analytics on my work, send my data to the tax man, all this stuff which is coming in the future which is largely already in place in China. Circa 2030 my ride on could detect me talking about 9ine 3leven then all of a sudden my social credit score goes down or my savings get fleeced, and I cany avoid that because at that time petrol will be illegalized, which all could be avoided if we protect petrol. There are good guys in the elec game but many toxic folks who want petrol gone, they want to farm the fuck out of commercial and domestic users, its the beast system getting its d*** in as many pockets as it can, all it wants to do is devour. So all in all fuck elec, but I still appreciate the place of elec equipment in the industry, I respect the actual utility of elec...

    I don't have a ride on, use hru216 only. Lots of people turning me away lately but I try to explain to them, oy most ride ons won't cut this, you need a push mower for it plus a big ass whipper snipper (fs260) which lots of so called pros who even have ride ons do not have. I should get paid way more for taking away grass. This season has been lucrative but way too strenuous on the equipment / body, people are cheap and don't get their shit cut at proper intervals then I have the be the pseudo cowboy who comes in and makes it all better for the shit cunt regular guy. Industry goes from dead to ridiculous pace, lots of businesses get crushed by the wax and wane, I would be out of the game by now if my overheads weren't so low. You really need equity or low overheads or this game will break your balls. Low standards plus the existence of cowboy guys puts us professionals in some real peril (P.S. fuck Jim Penman).

    Sorry Ben but I’m in camp BJ on raising prices. Kudos to you for being more efficient and not needing to raise prices but in general your going backwards with income coming in. Sure I agree, your not going to give a $70 lawn a 5% price rise and make it $73.50 but I think any job over $120 deserves a price rise. Definitely for the larger jobs. If my contract on a strata community is $40,000 and my main cost is diesel and diesel goes up by 25% and I don’t raise my prices the following year. I would be losing income. Anyways love listening to you guys. You call yourself unprofessional but bring a lot of good topics and issues and use real examples to get the points across. Great show keep it up ❤

    This is the messiest catcher I have owned. Does not take alot to fill up. It blows dust and clipping all over the operator. It takes up a lot of space and also puts alot of weight on oneside of my 48” Ariens. Constantly have the managed the level of the cutter to not cut lower oneside than the other. Also, the bracket does not allow the flap to down all the way so messy again. Anyone want to buy a brand new one let me know

    Hey guys! I have been checking out your mower reviews, and have just started watching your session videos. They're all very well made, and informative! I run a solo lawn service operation in the southern part of the US. I actually do side discharge, mulching and catching. I catch or mulch my nice residential lawns, and side discharge the bigger properties (Im glad the owner is OK with side shooting). When you guys make reference to "catching", do you mean any kind of bagging, or just the little aluminum catchers (catchpro, accelerator, etc)? Thanks in advance!
