Grace owner here, upgrading from dedica one year ago. Already familiar with switching between espresso and steam while using thermoblock, I did not even look for dual boiler. While steaming, first and second shot are not the same. This indicates that a dual boiler would be more stable. However now I do not care. Getting familiar with this inconsistency I can adjust tge process and return with consistent result. On the other hand, single boiler helps me hack flow rate and pressure, with the help of steam node while brewing espresso. This would not be possible with Elizabeth.

With single boiler you can hack flow control, adjusting pressure with the help of steam knob..

Thank you for the clear video. I followed the same steps for my Lelit Bianca v3 and it was an easy job. Putting the level in the middle position before disassembly was a great tip which saved me a lot of time. I was able to easily put the cam back in, and the whole process just took about 5 minutes.

Are you using the 14-18g basket or the 18-21g basket?

I noticed strange behaviour: when I put a blind filter during group cleaning operation, it shows exactly 9 bar. But when I am making an espresso, at the begining of extraction the presure goes up to 12 bar, sometimes even to 12,5 bar, and during the extraction it slowely goes down to 10 bar. I set up 3 seconds of prefusion, it might affect the presure, I don't know.

J’ai un budget d’environ 400/450$ pour le moulin. William serait un parfait mariage avec Elisabeth, mais la qualité du système micrométrique ne me convainc pas. En revanche, si d’après ton expérience, tu trouves que la précision granulométrique est suffisante malgré la mauvaise qualité du système micrométrique, je me baserai sur ton avis. Great Video, I just bought the Mara X, I wanted to get the Elizabeth but everyone has been sold out for some time and I got the OK for new machine but could not find Elizabeth and the Bianca is just to big for my counter so settled for Mara X on sale in U.S. $340.00 Off

If you need the correct wrenches for the metric system, use the 23 mm and 27 mm sizes.

Finally looking real hard at the Elizabeth, just watch vedio on checking PID Temp on Elizabeth, looked like what was on machine and portifilter temp probe test were real close and for home users I think the Elizabeth is the way to go and for me it fits my counter space bester than lets say the Breville DB. IS there a option to see the actual temperature in the steam boiler like the temp of the water boiler?

Thanks for a very clear and informative video. I have the same model machine and now the power button appears faulty - it will now only stay on if the button is kept pressed in by hand. I have taken the top cover off and checked that the button and connectors are firmly in place. The parts diagram shows it's part number is 9600052. Any ideas or information on this fault would be appreciated. Also, do you know where I could order the part number from (I am in Australia)?

I can answer to the PID. KPc is the constant that multiply the setting temp minus the actual temp. Proportional term, the higher you get the more reactive will be the machine to maintain and reach the temperature. Total resulting power to the boiler = Power 1 + 2 + 3 Power1 = (SetupT - ActualT) x KPc KIc is the integral term meaning it sum the error over time. It is usefull for finely adjust temp over time. Power2 = integral over time (SetupT - ActualT) x KIc For ex if your temp error (SetupT° - ActualT°) is few deg, the actual power1 could not be enough, so every second that error is there it will be multiplied by KIc and added to power1. We call that eliminating the traling error. KDc is the derivative term. It check the variation of the error Power 3 = (SetupT - ActualT) x KDc This parameter enter in the game when there is strong variation detected, either by changing your setting T° or because the boiler refill and an error build up fast. Do not get to high on this parameter as with inertia the T° will be unstable or at least having overshoot on the T°

i have this grinder. when i recently took it apart to clean it out and put it back, my grinder step is now set between 10 and 1. this is "area" which grinds the best for my beans, however, it makes it very difficult to make adjustments since it's in that "undefined" range and not on a specifc number. is there a "top dead center" or zero out the adjustment so that it starts somewhere in the middle, like 5-6?
