MOTOTEC X4 150CC new carborator jetting

replaced stock carborator with mikuni knockoff from Amazon. bike was running lean so I upped the jetting to a 130 from a 125. hopefully that does the trick or I will have to go up to a 135 main jet. jetting a carb is never fun.

license plate mod after T-Rex lowering kit on my KTM RC390

when installing a T-Rex lowering kit you will find that the license plate will only have a couple inches from your rear tire. I installing a side mount for license plate. got it on Amazon for about 20 dollars.

i gave Phil his 20" and 24" frames that he raced for many years and he still has them.

i have a few of the Steve Cohen XL's left. i will build cruisers when i sell more frames first. need more money. very expensive to build these frames. all hand made in the USA.

How long have you had it? Have you ridden it much yet? I've got the same model same year. It has some quirks but they're easy to fix. I absolutely love this bike
i purchased the bike in december 2023. haven't had any problems with it yet. only rode it 2 times though. most common problem is the fuel pump failing. its a lot of fun and easy to ride.
@@robertscrapholegarage8500 I ride a lot of single track and found it would get too hot in the tight stuff. Fixed it with a Boyesen Supercooler. Flame outs were also a big problem until I adjusted the throttle position sensor. Now it's a perfect bike

I have 5 of the Steve Cohen frames left. They are all XL's. They are serial numbered and are the last of 12. I am not building any more. There are only 12 of these cran-apple metallic Steve Cohen frames.

That is a sweeeeeeet bike! I raced BMX at my local track (Boomtown BMX) for 15 years. Im into mountain bikes now, but damn its tempting to get one of those sweet frames!

How tall are you? I’m like 5”0 or 5”1 and a friend with the same bike is gonna give me his but we need it lowered first. Do you think it would go down enough for someone short as me?
You have no choice but to lower the bike if your 5 foot tall. I'm 5 foot 7 inches. The bike is very tall stock. Plus you have to shorten the kick stand.

2011 350 sxf? Sounds like an under 3k bike to me
i had to pay for delivery and there wasn't any others forsale in my area. i didn't want the xc350. also a lot of people are asking crazy numbers because the new ones are so expensive.

im a 2 stroke guy. totally against 4 stroke motocross bikes but after i rode this i couldn't believe how much this bike felt like a 2 stroke.
how, how did u lowered the front? usually the forks are flashed with the plate, i guess u just loosen the plate's bolt and slide the forks up? wont the whole bike just fall down the fork? sorry for the english
you loosen the bolts on the triple tree and slide the forks up. use a tape measure to make sure the forks are even. then tighten the bolts on the triple tree. you also have to adjust your bike stand so the front wheel in on the ground when you lower the front.

if your short like me it will make it more comfortable to ride. remember that you have to shorten the kick stand or purchase a new adjustable kick stand.

the guy who purchased it new did a lot of work to it. it is set up for track with the exhaust, ignition, quick shifter and high flow intake. im just finishing it with the body kit.

@@robertscrapholegarage8500 the premuffler you removed, did that affect your back pressure? In india the exhaust pipe goes all the way from front to down beneath the sump connecting to premuffler, then the slip on stock exhaust Also india its called bs6 (pollution norms) bs6 bikes are facing a ticking sound from the engine, is it with you?
its a one piece exhaust. its for racing but it lays too low. i have seen this same exhaust on other youtubers bikes. i have to bring the bike to a fabricator to rework the exhaust not to hang so low. it will definitely rub when leaning the bike on a right hand turn. i will make new video showing the exhaust and how loud it is.@@alexdeshpande7457
My dude these hole shots are perfect and look like they are doing 100mph just as a frame , shoot I’m a huge midschool collector mostly freestyle tanks , a person could say in a Hoffman nut I have 4 condors 95 ramp room , 96 chrome first of the Taiwan production, 02 pro team condor in white , 03 black pro team condor with black ramp room love handles , 01 dirt bros patriot , 01 short bus , 02 trailer park , and a Gary young not sure year either an 01 or 02 , 00 volume destroyer, eastern Hercules 😊
That Thruster Tri-Power with the blue sticker kit damn !! I had a 82 Vanishing Point with the blue stickers, my first real BMX. I brought it off a friend who built it the end of my freshman yr (82) , decided he wanted a Tri-Power instead. Had that bike for a yr & half before it was stolen. My father worked directly across the street from the Thruster factory in Wayne NJ.
What CDI box did you replace the stock one with
i ordered it off of amazon. there are a few of them to choose from. just make sure you get an ac - cdi box. do not buy a dc- cdi box.
whats the top speed
manuel says 57 mph, but with the new cdi box it will probably be over 60 mph

I saw the video of the completed powder coated frames with the ingraved signature. They were absolutely beautiful. I love this design. It kinda sucks you only did 12 but I understand.

So I have a mototec 150cc but I’m having an issue with the push to start and the starter solenoid do you have any ideas on how I can replace or possibly fix the problem I haven’t seen a solenoid available on the parts sight for the 150
I removed the battery and coiled up the start button behind the number plate. Save over 5 lbs removing the battery. I just used the kick start. Never had an electric start motorcycle so it's not a big deal to me.
