Nice review! I have a 380 which i like that is pretty tame in snappiness due to it being an all steel pistol. Thats what keeps it from being an ed. Pistol. I will have to consider bodyguard 2.0 for a lighter edc replacement.

I had two. Birh were Jam i maic 9000s wirh the reconmended ammo. The RIA 1911 and the Walther PME are so better

The S&M Bodyguard 2.0 comes in 2 versions: thumb safety (TS) and no thumb safety (NTS). Both versions have a trigger safety.

Take those junk Altimonts off and put them in the box for the next owner to learn the hard way. If you want wood grips, get Hogue, or an old set of Ahrends. They actually fit properly and help you absorb the recoil….. if not, just put rubber grips on it.

Lucked into mine a couple days after launch. Absolutely love it. So much better than the original and the LCP series. Shoots as good as my 365/380 with a 1/3 off the weight.

You can get the Bodyguard 2.0 with a thumb safety or without a thumb safety. Mine has a thumb safety because that was all they had in the store and I really wanted one. But the safety is so small, I can leave it off and not think about it. But they are selling both options. It just appears some stores are getting only one or the other.

They do take Glock mags, but shipping with Glock mags would require cooperation with Glock… That’s why they ship it with 1 cheap mag, knowing you are going to bring your own Glock mags. I like to see a roller-delayed blowback operation on any PCC… not sure what Ruger did with this one. You did miss out on the very best part of .45 ACP… you didn’t shoot it suppressed.

Good tip. I ONLY collapse the stock right before I put it back in the case. Far too many times where I would collapse it down and spend the next few hours looking for it.

Ive always called it a telescopic stock for some reason. 🤔 made sense to me 😂

Apparently, Secret Service snipers don’t learn counter sniping. US Army and US Marine snipers must pass counter sniping, before they can being stalking and shooting. Counter sniping is the ability to identify object and changes in the environment that may indicate a sniper is present.

GX4 has been my EDC for two years. I have Rugers and a S&W semiauto and revolver, but this gun just feels great in my hand and shoots great. Never had a failure in 300+ rounds. I have the 13-round extended mag and two 11-round mags with pinky extensions. Perfect carry gun.
