I'm 74 years old I had a single cylinder vertical type steam engine dolly when I was like about 10 11 years old that was a pretty neat toy probably be dangerous nowadays they probably wouldn't sell something like that cuz you had fire and live stream and don't tell us what could happen

@psepolishsteamengines2021 it was at a swap meet that sells alot of hit miss engine stuff and antiques . Got it from a nice 80 some year old. Engine is amazing. A guy there I know who does machine work looked at it for like an hour and said he was impressed

Can it actually run on steam though?
Any pressurized gas will do. Steam was just used because you could carry loads of it in the form of water. Any steam engine will run if it is supplied enough compressed air.
